I found the writing to be flat and the characters to be shallow. The book might be written for a teenager preoccupied with describing clothing, interior design, and sex.

Trite - preoccupied with fashion
I’m visiting friends in Copenhagen this summer and thought this would be fun as I love murder mysteries. I found it very lite and only finished to write down the restaurant names. The male protagonist spends as much time describing his couture as he does his sleuthing. My friends are very down to earth and I don’t suspect they spend a lot of time worrying about Gucci shoes and custom tailored suits.
