Adventure!

Gary’s mother call him and tells him she was sick. When he got there, she had to be taken to the hospital. She tells him that they had adopted him. After she dies he was determined to find out the truth of who his real family is. Then as the mystery unfolds, it gets dangerous for him and his family. The story goes into twist and turns with a shocker!

Great Story!

What a wild ride once it got started. The first part of the book was a little boring just explaining the story but when it kicked into gear I just couldn't stop listening. I did receive this as a free copy but I defiantly would have paid for it, I'll be looking for from this author. It does have some triggers but the story is well thought out, very enjoyable book!

Twisted Thriller

This mystery is super twisted and unpredictable. I felt bad for Gary and his family. They just wanted the truth about Gary's parentage only to find themselves in a paradise from hell. Jim Selleck did a great job with the narration.

A death bed confession…

On her deathbed, Garry’s mother confesses that he was adopted. So begins Garry’s journey to find the truth of his birth. When Garry finally meets his birth mother, everything seems too good to be true. Garry and his family are having a great time…until they’re ready to leave and things turn ‘Hotel California’! The truth turns out to be more shocking than imagined. Rather enjoyable story.

Awesome Story

This book has a terrific story. It depicts a family drama, relationship and tragedy. It’s a bit dragging though initially; however, the author tries to complement it with exciting, descriptive sceneries with the tragic ending.
The narration was professionally done. It highlights exciting scenarios in the story. It presents a thematic approach to the events and situations of the entire narrative.
Anyone keen on family drama, this book is very much recommended.

shocking and suspenseful!

let me begin by saying, the narrator does an excellent job! He is one of the few male narrators that does a wonderful job of female voices. He really makes all characters come to life.if you are a fan of psychological suspense, this is the book you need to read! The suspense level, and the psychological affects, are both at top level! He finds out a shocking secret on the sudden death of his mother. This is what starts everything. He begins a quest that could cost him, his wife, and their family, their very lives! Along the way, shocking twists and turns are around every corner!

Creepy

This book is really pretty creepy. The themes are definitely 18+ but it is not explicit. There is some swearing but it is mostly limited to one very heated scene.

This book deals with the death of the main character’s mother.

It may make you rethink your approach to what’s important in life.

Narration was very engaging.

Great Story!💜

This story was definitely a page turner. A fast paced mystery and at every corner you’re asking yourself, “what next?” It will keep you engaged all the way through until the end.
I had trouble with the narration at first but once I got into the story I really enjoyed it.
This was a good mystery & I recommend this book.

OMG

This is an awesome listen it grabbed right from the start i could not sleep it is a thriller with a plot from i dont even know where when the secrets were revealed i just sat there with my mouth open i recommend this listen looking forward to more listens by this author and the narrator was spot on

What a great plot!

Sometimes we get what we ask for and it’s not always what we deserve. When Gary’s mother dies she tells him he was adopted. As he tries to find his adoptive parents things get stranger and stranger with the help of his wife Delia he thinks he finally got to the bottom of it and winds up on a secluded island in Hawaii with this family and meet his mother who seems like a very generous person at first. Trust me when I say things or not what they seem. This is an excellent plot it’s original it’s quirky and it’s serious. I loved it I thought it was awesome. If you like family dramas action adventure read this book it’s truly awesome! I always say the narrator can make or break an audiobook this narrator made it so much better it was awesome I love them can’t wait to read more books done by him.

Life of deceit

Not really my type of book but I wanted to know how it ended. I found the narrator a little hard to deal with. As a mother I found the content quite insulting at times.

Thriller

I did enjoy listening to Jim Selleck, a very narrator

A mother's dying breath to her son tells him he is adopted. Gary starts to look for birth family. With twists and turns all along the way, it goes to show that money does not buy happiness and families can have dark secrets. The grass is not always greener on the other side.

A dangerous secret

This is not in the same league as Dean Koontz or Jeffery Deaver, however I have to give it to the author for he kept me glued to the story till the end. It was full of intrigue and when I had to stop listening for a while, questions ran through my head and I wanted to get back to listening to it. I also loved the twist towards the end.
I would have liked it if we knew a little more after the incident, I felt it was rushed and one of the characters did something that I found hard to believe because they didn't act like they wanted it before. I felt their need for the thing came out of nowhere. I don't want to say too much because I don't want to spoil it.
I would still recommend it and I would read other books written by this author.
There is a little profanity, moderate violence and sexual content (abuse - the victim tells what happened to her but not in graphic detail).
