A big unanswered question.

I get the mixed reviews, but it is a cute story. There isn’t any cheating in the book, but it is discussed that the king only has heirs with other Elves, to keep the bloodline pure. I want to know if he’s still going to hold to that or not. That changes everything.

Elizabeth Evans is an incredible narrator. Now the more serious stuff…

I enjoyed the relationship between the male and female lead, but that’s all that is carrying this book. I didn’t love the female lead, there was this issue with her character where she wasn’t strong but she wasn’t weak. It didn’t make sense. The magic system and plot doesn’t really work. There are many great lines. The author can write well, their plotting is the overarching issue.

Very good story with a slow burn

I really enjoyed this book and the slow burning romance. I finished it way too fast and wish there was more to the story, but I do look forward to discovering more from this author.

I just Wish it had more explicit spicy content though. Otherwise, it was enjoyable and cute. A good quick read.
