Story
You can’t bargain with death if you’ve already sold your soul. Special agent Patrick Collins has been reassigned by the supernatural operations agency to New York City. Navigating his new relationship with Jonothon de Vere, the werewolf he’s now soulbound to, is nothing compared to dealing with territorial disputes between the vampires and werecreatures who call the five boroughs home. But the delicate treaties that have kept the preternatural world in check are fraying at the edges, and the fallout is spilling into the mundane world.

Story
Being a hit man has its perks, but I never thought getting an accidental mooning by an attractive PI while he’s caught on a fence would be one of them. While it’s not exactly love at first sight, he’s captured my interest and won’t let go. Suddenly, I find myself caught in a game of cat and mouse, determined to attract the attention of Jackson, the PI who should be my enemy. He pretends like he’s not flattered by my flowers and the mentions of my totally-not-fictitious blow-up doll, Randy (or was it Dandy?), but I know better.

Publisher's Summary
Never promise a life that isn’t yours to give.
New York City is decked out for the holidays, and Special Agent Patrick Collins is looking forward to a reunion with his old team when he gets assigned a new case. A human child is missing, and the changeling left in her place causes a prominent witch family to demand justice from the fae.
Meanwhile, continued harassment from the New York City god pack forces Jonothon de Vere to formally establish his own with Patrick. Doing so will mean a civil war within the werecreature community - a war they risk losing from the start without alliances. Making bargains with the fae is never wise, but Patrick and Jono have nothing to lose when a fae lord comes asking for their help.
The Summer Lady has been kidnapped from the Seelie Court, and if they can find her, Patrick and Jono will cement an alliance with the fae. But the clues to her disappearance are found in Tír na nÓg, and the Otherworld has never been kind to mortals.
Venturing past the veil, Patrick and Jono risk losing territory, time, and their very lives while searching for answers. Because the Queen of Air and Darkness knows they are coming - and the ruler of the Unseelie Court has an offer for them they can’t possibly refuse.
A Crown of Iron & Silver is a 107k word m/m urban fantasy with a gay romantic subplot and a HFN ending. It is a direct sequel to All Souls Near & Nigh. Reading the prior books in the series would be helpful in enjoying this one.

A good story
Okay, there was a lot here that I liked but, TBH, the story was quite repetitive and overlong at times. If I had been reading it, there had been some skimming. And yes, there was a lot of action, and that's part of the problem. Too much action, but not really a lot happening.
Add to that that there is a LOT of new characters and gods. Too many, to my taste. I felt as if I had to have a doctorate in Mythology to follow them.
And, personally I’m SO done with Ethan. I’m hoping in the next books there will be another bad guy :/
The constant recaps from previous books didn't help, either. This is a common mistake I keep seeing in series. And I really wish authors would stop doing that. You don't begin a series by book three, do you?
On the positive side, I really liked how the characters keep growing, Particularly Jono, who is becoming a great alpha. I also liked how Patrick was aware of becoming a better (and happier) person because of Jono.
All in all, an entertaining read.
Now, Gary Furlong... Gary Furlong I loved. He's such a fantastic narrator! A truly marvel ♥

Who Grounds A Dragon?
This is the third book in The Soulbound Series. You do need to read the previous books to get the most out of this book. Once again, this author has earned a 5-star rating from me (I don’t give out many). It is so captivatingly written that you just want to read until you have finished with no breaks. The worldbuilding is complex yet understandable. There is a plot for the series, but each book has their own plot and subplots that tie in to the main one. Very entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. The characters are diverse and well developed and thought out. Patrick and Jono are the MC’s of this book. I like how Patrick is willing fight his nature and really give a relationship between him and Jono an honest try. The secondary characters are fantastic too. I love Wade and he really showed his presence in this book. You get to see his development and who he is starting to be. There was humor, wolves, shifters, mythology, gods & goddesses, snacks, mystery, action and so much more in this book. I was already wanting book four before I had finished reading this book. The narration was good and made the book enjoyable. I can highly recommend as a great read and listen. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

I love seeing how much Patrick has grown and developed over the series. I've enjoyed seeing Patrick and Jono’s love and trust in each other grow and deepen. It's been a beautiful journey so far,
I love how the author has taken the Gods, Weres, Vampires, Fae, basically all mythological creatures, and incorporated them into a fun and adventurous story.
As always, the narrator knocked this out of the park!

Broome's Books Review
A Crown of Iron & Silver did not let me down. At all. First, let’s talk audio.
Gary Furlong does an amazing job in voicing Patrick, Jono, and the entire cast of unique characters. I could listen to him speak as Jono for forever. His voice was soothing, mischievous, and when the time called for it? Sexy as hell. With audiobooks of this length (ten hours) I tend to have issues staying interested. That was not the case with this audiobook. I was immersed in the Soulbound world.
Now onto the book review!
Patrick manages to get pulled into a case and into the complicated world of the fae (and brings everyone along with him on the ride). I enjoyed the Celtic, folklore that most of this story was rooted around.
We get to learn more about Patrick’s life in the Mage Corp and the men he spent his time fighting side-by-side with in the 30 Day War.
I’ve wanted to see pack interaction. And I got it! I needed to know how Jono and Patrick were going to lead their and work with their pack. Wade, oh Wade, he had me cracking up. I swear I’ve never wanted Poptarts more than after Wade munching on packet after packet.
Patrick and Jono make my heart melt into a gooey puddle of happiness. Their relationship is still growing and changing, but in all the best ways. Also, they just have a chemistry together that makes my breath catch.

This series just keeps getting better and better, just like Hailey's writing! I am such a huge fan of everything she writes.
The world building is exceptional. You become immersed in this wonderful word that Hailey has created. The characters are real to you and you are invested in their lives. I was so happy to go along for the ride with Patrick and Jono. Gary Furlong does an outstanding job of bringing these characters to life.
Where will this series take us next? All I know is that I will follow wherever it goes!

Hailey Turner does it again!
This is the third book in the Soulbound Series and honestly might be my favorite. We learn more about the overarching storyline of the packs in the city, as well as a specific case for Patrick in the book. Patric and Jono are still a great duo! I loved it and will definitely listen to it again! Gary Furlong’s narration was spot on.

AMAZING!
I absolutely loved this third book/audiobook in the Soulbound series. It is AMAZING and I would give it TEN stars if I could. The characters are wonderfully complex and the plot is intricate with plenty of twists and surprises to keep the reader/listener enthralled. The story is full of action and adventure, secrets and half-truths, subterfuge and double-crosses, hurt and betrayal. There is also plenty of love, friendship, and devotion, and some very steamy intimate scenes between Patrick and Jono. I loved it and I can't wait for the next book. (Please write fast.^^) Although this story can be enjoyed by itself (and is the best one so far), you won't understand everything going on if you haven't read or listened to the first two books.
The narration by Gary Furlong is beyond words. His delivery really brings the characters and story to life. I don't think I would ever enjoy the story as much by reading it myself, as I would stumble over (or skip) the names that he seems to pronounce with grace and ease.
I received a review copy of this audiobook through LesCourt Author Services and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

Fantastic
Fantastic narration, I especially loved Jono's English accent so good. The story is compelling and I thought the narrator did an amazing job with all the Celtic words. Highly recommend

A great series and one of my favorite couples!!!
🌟🌟🌟🌟 4.5 stars
🔥🔥🔥 Heat Level: 3+
🎧🎧🎧🎧 Narration: 4.5
More twists and turns as Jono and Patrick are forced to make their move to save a friend's fiance and establish their pack and their power.
With more danger, thanks to the local god pack, Jono’s life is threatened again and Pat and Jono’s bond is strengthened.
I felt this book was less tense than the previous two but helped solidify the series progress. Betrayal and hardship lie ahead but Pat and Jono are stronger together than they ever were apart. I can't wait for more of these two and am so ready for the next installment.
Fantastic narration too! Gary is a master at elevating Pat and Jono and adding fear to the devastating dangers these characters face.
A great series and one of my favorite couples!!!
Thanks for reading!

Wow!
I really enjoy the Spellbound series. Turner has once again kept me on the edge of my seat and I found that it was absolutely engaging. Furlong’s vocalization is engaging and consuming. He is perfect for this series! This book is an enjoyable listen and perfect for a dreary day.

Enter the Fate on Midwinter
I love this Soulbound series by Hailey Turner, so I was thrilled to get an opportunity to review this and Gary Furlong has grown on me with every audiobook. He does a very acceptable British accent for Jono and then the Irish brogue for the Fae Lords and Queens, etc. Wade and Sage are pack with Jono & Patrick and things are about to change for Emma and her pack too.
Patrick's former military colleagues are also in town and they get involved in this latest case of his which starts off as a Changeling child in the place of the baby of a prominent New York witch family. This story is best enjoyed after the first two books and is highly recommended for all lovers of Paranormal MM adventure & romance. I'm eagerly awaiting book 4!

Amazing third audio book
I love this story and Jono and Patrick so much.
I once again read the story too fast, so listening to it was perfect to discover new details in a way.
The main story keeps going in this installment, and we pick up not too long after the last book. it once again takes you on a fast pace thrilling journey.
I really love the way Jono and Patrick's relationship is developing as well. Loved their interaction with Wade and the rest of the people around them.
Gary Furlong's narration is on point, especially all the accents, it was perfect. He really brought everyone to life and I couldn't stop listening. I look forward to relistening to this and to the next book :-)
