Publisher's Summary

They call me beautiful. They call me a monster. Soon, they'll call me death.

As a direct descendant of the God of Death, Cassandra Saélihn is considered the most dangerous monster of all time. Her own mother locks her in a cage to protect the world from her. Cass thought this jail would be her world for a lifetime, but then four sexy, formidable warriors - a vampire lord, twin fae princes, and a demigod - find her.

They claim she's not a monster, but a powerful weapon. The Olympian gods have begun to destroy the Earth with a vengeance, and only she can stop and kill them. But Cass has a mind of her own and can't be told what to do, no matter how drawn she is to her four warrior saviors. To their dismay, the four warriors can't tame the wild, cunning, and volatile Cass. But they have a bigger problem - their growing attraction toward her.

To turn the woman they desire into the ultimate weapon and ensure Earth's survival, they'll have to conquer her body and heart, which seems even harder than winning the war against the atrocious gods. But nothing turns these alpha males on more than an impossible dare. And nothing turns Cass on more than being stalked.

Warning: This is a full-length reverse harem fantasy/paranormal romance that features one hell of strong woman and her four powerful supernatural mates. It contains brutal battles, explicit love scenes, raw language, magic, sword fights, Greek gods, dark fae, vampires, and shifters.

A heroine that you will either love or hate.......

I need to preface this review by emphasizing that not every reader will like this heroine. Cass is an extremely foul-mouthed, belligerent woman with little to no regard for other people. That said, when you take into account both her age and the abuse from her mother from an early age, I can see how she decided that the only way she could survive would be to push others away before they could reject her themselves. Many reviewers mention the inappropriateness of a 15 year-old starring in an erotic novel, but I have read enough paranormal romances to know that you really need to suspend all reality to enjoy these types of stories, erotic or not. I also don't mind the cliffhanger at the end because the author always publishes sequels pretty quickly, and it just ramps up the anticipation for the next book. Overall, if you enjoy intricate world-building and lots of action, and if you can accustom yourself to Cass's crash personality, I think this a good choice for fans of the paranormal romance genre.

Victoria Mei is an excellent narrator, and she performs up to her usual high standards with this book. Her delivery is flawless, and she actually makes Cass's abrasive personality less irritating for me. She handles the male roles equally as well as the female, and I can always tell which character is speaking. I cannot think of a better choice to narrator this exciting book.

i received a copy of this audiobook at my request in exchange for this honest review.

Damn

This book is really unlike anything you have ever heard/read! Most hear “reverse harem” and think that a book is simply going to be smut, but that is NOT the case with this story. This book is about a badass chick with an attitude learning more about herself and the men she is meant for as she traverses trials and tribulations. Cass cannot be tamed and her fated mates love her feral no nonsense personality. The author lays out a complex well woven story and the narrator brings the characters to life. A lot of times I have a hard time when a single narrator attempts to do voices of the opposite sex, it pulls me out of the story and sounds super corny, but in this audiobook, the narrator was flawless, there was nothing that took away from the story, her performance was stunning!

No story, just porn

Waste of time and money if you're interested in more than vulgarity. Seems like the author was trying to win a contest for how many times she could use the F bomb.

Solid ok

The plot is interesting and kept me involved enough to finish, but I struggled. There are so many holes in the main character's personality that I just can't forgive. She lived in a cage most of her life, 13 years, but she's a total biotch, instead of understandably withdrawn. I get some sass, it's what makes her interesting; but her overuse of the "c" word makes me cringe everytime. Not the actual word, mind you, but that it's her go-to insult is enough to make my eyes roll. I guess I'm supposed to ignore the fact she's never been given any form of education and can't even spell her own name, but she apparently knows everything and refuses help from anyone. Oh and she's 16, but feels 23 so the age gap shouldn't be weird, right? The holes were so poorly addressed that I blanched as the story continued.

That being said, the overall plot must've been good enough for me to finish the book and want to know how it plays out. I'll give book 2 a try, even though I have reservations about it.

The narrator was decent. She wasn't my favorite, but lots of characters means lots of voices, and she tried to accommodate. I liked that she tried to perform and not just read.

Either you love her or you don't!

I don't ! The story is gripping but the main character is really annoying with a bad attitude. Though the had good reasons for her attitude I've got enough! But the cliffhanger is almost enough to continue, it's really intriguing...

The narration was really great (maybe to great, if that's a thing)

Interesting new series with hot paranormal guys

3.5 Stars

Overall Rating ★★★★

Characters: Cass, Reysalor, Lorcan, Pyrder (Reysalor’s twin), Alaric

Story: I really wanted to enjoy this story but the main character, Cass, bothered me a lot. I like a snarky bada** main character but I don’t like immature brats with no manners and a bad attitude. She acted like a 10-year-old or younger a lot of the time. She was extremely obnoxious with everyone she encountered. Also, hearing "Cass Baby" soooo many times was a bit much. I did enjoy the overall plot and I liked the guys, yet I don't know what they saw in her. Cass was strong as far as her power went, but that's all. I'm curious to know if she becomes a better character.

Narration: Victoria Mei - This is the first full book that I've listened to by Victoria and I really enjoyed her narration. I liked how she distinguished between all the characters.

More please!

Fantastic audiobook! So much is going on, that you just fly through this book. There's powers, mates, lots of supernatural creatures, action, fighting, steamy scenes, and intrigue! Plus the characters are great, strong and easy to love. Cass has a lot of sass! I loved this audiobook and am anxious to start book 2 in the series! The narrator, Victoria Mei, did an outstanding job giving voice to these great characters and really bringing the entire story to life. She did a great job portraying Cass the way I pictured her! I am definitely impressed.

I absolutely loved this book!!

It had me caged in from the first chapter!! Sexy, funny & magical. All of the characters are strong and intriguing but Cass is the strongest of them all. Powerful and cunning, she has her men wrapped around her finger and she doesn’t even know it. This book did not have an HEA but you can see where this story is going, and I can’t wait to get there!!
The narration was absolutely perfect! Victoria portrays Cass in such a way that feel like I’ve known her for years!! She does an excellent job on the male voices as well.
If you like paranormal romance and don’t mind no HEA, then I highly recommend this book!

Cringeworthy

Everything about this audiobook was painful. from the narrator, the main character, the sex talk and all the swearing . Made it to charpter 3 and just couldn't continue. Which is disappointing hate not being able to finish a book.
