It is possible to be the BEST

By the time an author repelases a 4th book in a series, the story gets stale, monotonous and sometimes down right boring... oh not this time, not this book, if it’s possible to adore a fourth book better than the first 3 I would say this is it!!! And omg the narrator, are there oscars, Emmy or Tony awards given for narrators because this man deserves all of them, the amount of life he gave to this story is beyond words, I can’t even describe how involved and realistic it felt while listening to this story, I swore I was in the middle of the book watching it everything happening right in front of me. I can’t recommend this series enough and now with the addition of this book I’ll have to figure out how to make people read/listen to it even more!!!

Great story!!

Starts a little slow but it is a killer storyline and very cool action. Loved this one a lot!

An amazingly unique, entertaining, gripping, heartfelt, fast paced, one of a kind story that has you on pins and needles the entire time. I have been a huge fan of this series for a while now and decided to wait for the audio of this book to see what would happen after the last book. It was so well worth the wait and then some. The writing is as you come to expect from J.J. McAvoy... Apologetically in your face, smart, witty and sexy! This woman can do absolutely no wrong with this world that she has built. These characters and all their intricate relationships are like crack to a junkie, so good that one can't just wait for the next fix. You want to keep on going even if you know that around the corner something is going to happen to rip your heart out. Now, the narration just took this story to another stratosphere!! Joel Froomkin completely SLAYS this narration. It felt like a radio opera with all of the different characters being voiced with so much clarity and uniqueness that you would think it was a full cast of narrators instead of one man going all in for his performance. The last hour of this audio is something fierce and the emotions just overtake you. I was a goner, and like a true masochist, I wanted more. I can't wait for more!!!

Have some tissue handy

Not exactly how I expected it to end truth be told but still quite a lovely finish and an increadibly satisfying ending to a favorite series of mine.
Not ashamed to admit there were several tears. You will know why when u read it. But stick with it. Might not end how u want it to but it Will be a HEA of sorts. Will not spoil it.
Broke my heart, but oh what a finish. Definately will listen to again and again.

I absolutely love this series! This book is amazing and kept me on my toes the whole time! The characters are awesome too! JJ did a wonderful job writing the story!!

Best story w/ the best narrator

The story is amazing, of course, but the narrator is amazing. I typically always purchase Audible books (167 so far) that have dual narration. BUT Joel is fan-freakin-tastic. Yasss

Wow! I am speechless!

I didn't know JJ McAvoy prior to this series. I am now a FOREVER fan. This book was the final installment of Ruthless People Series and it was FULL of emotion, twists and turns. I cried, screamed and was left bubbling over in the end. This isn't a nice world they live in so the events depict that well. This was also my first exposure to Joel F. as a narrator and holy hell is he a series talent. He absolutely MADE this series AMAZING. BRAVO!

Fantastic again! J.J. McAvoy has truly written an amazing story here & the narration is perfect. Bloody Mel is great as always & so is the rest of the family. The kids are perfect & I can't wait to read their stories.

Bomb Series

This was wonderful writing with action, steamy romance and overall great read. I could not tell what was going to happen next and that in itself is refreshing.

seriously one of the best series!! melody was the strongest women ever written. I am ruined for all other heroine's. A very well written series.
