Breaks my heart

I hate leaving a review like this especially for an author I typically enjoy. This book, however, was no where close to being her best work. The female main character, Eloise, was not too bright and very stereotypical. Damian, the male character, wasn't much better. They were both very one-dimensional and I never felt any sympathy for them or really cared what happened to them. What story there was, was very trite. No twists, no turns. I felt like the story was just a vehicle for the spicy sex scenes. It ended on a cliff-hanger, but I honestly don't care what happens to Eloise or Damian. You'd be better off reading her Treasure of Paragon series or the Knight Games series. Sorry to be so brutally honest.
