Publisher's summary

Having her own successful baking business literally fell into Harper Richardson's lap. She's strong, smart, independent, and well-rounded. Her life has already been figured out, and she is living it to the best of her abilities, along with her year-long boyfriend, Zaire.

Harper is given some news that stuns her, leaving her angry with herself for being so naïve. Zaire isn't the man she thought he was. Still reeling from that news, she decides to go and have a great time at the Houston Livestock Show. Her interest was only in the concerts happening, but a certain bull-rider steals her attention. Resisting him only makes her want him more.

Legend Semien, bull-rider extraordinaire and a legend in the making, has made his passion a professional career. He loves the risk and suspense of it all. Being in the limelight of the rodeo circuit, he's cocky and expects to be able to get whatever he wants.

While Harper and Legend are like night and day, they are attracted to each other like magnets. Despite the baggage and complications of their past lives, they attempt to get to know one another. Will they be able to leave their old lives behind in pursuit of a life together?

Contains mature themes.

Overall good story

The narrators we all wrong. But if you can get beyond the narrators and focus solely on the story it’s a good story. But the narrations were all wrong.

Loving Legend

I absolutely loved Legend! He was a man who knew what he wanted and worked for it! Harper was a crybaby and she was blessed to have found a man who would cater, protect, love, cherish and support her

a good listen

I enjoyed the book, save for the mispronounced name Thibodaux. I had a similar issue with Until I Met You.

Ahhhh Love

I loved this story. Being from Houston I always enjoy when I read stories that I can relate to knowing the city. The narrators did a great job, so it was a very easy listen. I thought that was hilarious the way they called them buckle bunnies. The relationship between Legend and Red was a true brotherhood. I was glad that Harper finally put herself first and Legend did too. Good Job Monica! Tamara Black - kaybeesbookshelf team member

Good Storyline

This book appeared on my Kindle feed multiple times. Due to it being about a bull rider I was on the fence. When it showed up here I decided to give it a try and I have to say in terms of the story I was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed this story. My only complaint is the male narrator in a different genre I'm sure he's good but he wasn't good for this book. However, if you can get past his voice you'll enjoy this book.

Amazing!!

Surprisingly I really enjoyed this story. The actors did a great job. I hope the author does more audio books.

A different story in a good way!!

I loved this book, I found a new love for rodeos. The only reason I gave the performance three stars was because the guy that read for Legend was all wrong. I found my self laughing at his voice. But the story kept me listening.

I love the story

The voice of Legend was not what I expected. So it was hard for me to listen in the beginning but because I love the story sooooo much I pushed thru.

Yes! Yes! Yes!

This was not what I expected. I really loved the cowboy storyline. I’ve been to a bull riding contest and the author nailed it. It is so exciting to see for real, and dangerous. Legend is def book BAE. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
