I'm addicted to this series.

Would you consider the audio edition of 4th of July to be better than the print version?

I prefer to read the book but I've begun listening to audio books at work. I am disappointed to see the books get more expensive as you go along. I'm to book 7 and it's $22..are you kidding me?

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes, as with the rest of the series, it's a page turner.

Interesting

I enjoyed he first three books more than I enjoyed #4. It wasn't as exciting as the others. I hope 5 is better.

entertaining

It was a good read. entertaining except the cheesy music that played from time during certain parts of the book

More trial drama than crime drama

I'm luke warm on this series, but I want to like it... I like the main character, but sometimes I wonder if Mr. Patterson has ever met a group of professional women. One scene in this book, they're described as squealing and jumping around because they hadn't seen each other in like a week....10 years of not seeing my best friend, there would be no squealing or jumping. Several little scenes like that throughout the series make me question what he was thinking, and makes the women look silly, unprofessional, emotional and/or immature.

There's a lot of trial drama in this one with bookends for the crime story. I'm not really in to court drama, but if you are, it's a nice twist to the series I guess. I found it unnecessary, and really more uncomfortable than intriguing.

The random background music in the recording is SUPER distracting. Especially during the romantic scenes...makes me feel like I'm listening to a terrible b-movie, or worse, 80s porn.

The narrator is definitely better than the female narrator for books one and two.

Good book/Great Reading

I enjoyed the book and its conclusion. I didn't see that coming. the reading was great I cant wait to hear Ms. McCormick as Lindsay Boxer again!

Celebrate 4th if July with the Ladies Murder Club

I adore this series. it is well writhed
written. The narration is terrific. The crimes are fantastic.

The visuals of Patterson’s writing has me walking with the characters. Love following these ladies.

Patterson, Fooled me again

Well done. Stories within stories. Disarming diversions, none of which prepared me for the surprise ending. I liked it, all the way through.

Good installment.

Not sure why it's the "Club" when it doesn't play much of a part. Good listen, if you've read the previous you know what to expect.
