Another Age-Gap Classic

Gloria is a widower with two college aged daughters and quite content with her life. At her friend Mary’s retirement party she is seated at the singles table next to Mary’s recently divorced daughter Ash Cooper. When Ashley ages her to dance she feels a tingling that lights her up. Falling in love was never in their sights but the heart wants what the heart wants. Erotic romance. Recommend.

Love this book!!! ❤️

A beautiful love story, with memorable chartered. Ash is so vulnerable and strong...can’t help but be engrossed with her. Then Gloria who has endured life’s treacherous curveballs. She is smart, sassy and intriguing. Together they have undeniable chemistry. I kinda want to live in their town!!! The supportive characters were immaculate and well thought out.
Thank you Harper Bliss!!! Very well narrated Carmen Rose 🌹
P.S. I’m in love with Celine Dion as well

Great story

Well done Harper Bliss!!!
Such a beautiful age gap romance! I love the story and the characters. How the age gap was delicately broached. Ash parents were probably my favorite charters. The new life both Ash and Gloria found in each other was endearing.
The narration was not great. I appreciated that the narrator was/used an English accent making it authentic. However, I did not enjoy the narration. It almost sounds as if the narrator was just reading the story, I almost couldn’t tell some of the characters apart. The way the narrator ended a chapter was not smooth at all. There was no smooth transition. Had the chapters not been announced prior to beginning I would have had no clue it was a new chapter.

very fun

I really like Harper's writing. I loved that these characters were older and I'm not exactly sure why that stuck out as such a positive aspect. both women were lovable, I often have an issue with one of the main characters even if I do like them but here they were both very real with flaws and struggles that never took away from the great things about them, they simply made them feel perfectly imperfect.

Age gap romance with low angst

Another lovely age-gap story by Harper Bliss. Older MC is an acquaintance of the younger MC’s parents, & love the dynamics it created for the storyline. Had a hard time getting used to the narrator at first, since she didn’t distinguish the female voices. Often was not sure who was speaking. Loved how book ends & guarantee you’ll have one of Celine Dion’s song in your head for days!

Beautiful Story ❤️

I have read this book quite a few times - my favorite Harper Bliss book. It's the first age-gap romance that I've read, and it really made me a huge fan of the trope. It truly captured the unexpectedness of it, considering how Ash and Gloria know each other. Though they tried to rationalize what was happening between them, it all of a sudden became undeniable, and it was beautiful how they worked it all out. I loved it!

As I've menyioned I have already read this multiple times, but I'm so glad I listened to the audiobook! It really added another dimension to the entertainment of the story!!

Entertaining

Older straight widow and young hip lesbian fall in love. Cute dialog back and forth. Narration was very good but narrator tended to ‘sing-song’ throughout but I don’t think it detracted from the story. I found this story very entertaining and have listened to it more than once. One of my favorites. Highly recommend.

Well done

I thought I would have a slight adjustment period to the accent, but I honestly don’t know what I could have been thinking. I’m always a fan of stories about age gaps as I’m someone that has always dated much older than myself.
