Love the storyline and the narrator

The storyline was great. I can’t wait for another book. Action packed, romance, and I love the person who reads the book. I haven’t heard anyone like her. She was great! I can’t wait for the next book, at least I hope there’s a next book in the series!!! Please!

I really enjoyed this book but I wish there was more in this series. I hope the author has more books in the works

Great Book

The storyline was so great the entire time every time I had to pause. I couldn’t wait to get back to it. Both books were wonderful.

And the fun continues....

There was a definite lag in the amount of time, and the amount of books I've read in between reading book 1 and book 2 of this series. So much so that I didn't really remember the actual plot or the characters when I started reading this book. For me, it was almost like a stand alone, and honestly, it worked pretty nicely as one.

The book starts out by introducing us to a woman who happens to be a vampire and is the secret head of the Nightshade group (Kiera Rossard). That group works in secret to help save werewolves from the vamps (there is currently a war of species between the vampires and the wolves).

At this point, Kierra ends up saving a wolf, but the wolf (Michael Durand) ends up being an ancient wolf - a legend among supernaturals and *shocking* the two of them are attracted to each other. This is against every law and social norm of the time. In fact, if Kierra were to take one bite...one small sip.. of Michael's blood, it would kill her immediately.

Then things get interesting. Having such high level people being able to be on the same side (even if they are trying to ignore their reactions) ends up being the catalyst that gets these groups talking to each other and actually helping the differing sides. There is also lots of very interesting facts that we are all learning about Kierra and her heritage and her bloodline. There is lots of action and drama, and things ultimately reach a huge climax.

I enjoyed this book and will be looking forward to the next book out in this series.
