Publisher's summary

Vishlog is working to understand the Morgana group and just what he has “volunteered” to be part of. Hopefully, he won't die before he learns.

The Witch of the Federation has matured, and she has learned how to be a bit more aggressive. She chooses to use this new strength...to go on a date.

Will Todd be able to handle the new Stephanie, or will even the Toddster succumb to fear when and if the Morgana reveals herself?

Stephanie and her team need a break, but the Federal Navy comes to Elizabeth, hat in hand, to ask for a favor. Unfortunately, it requires the team to go active earlier than they should. Will they accept?

Will Stephanie's team be able to defend the Federation?

She is a Morgana. There are no other alternatives, no matter the risk to her and her team.

The BEST one yet!

I loved it! thank goodness book 5 audible version is available now...Please, please please put the Todd & his crazy team on the Ship of the Captain that sat behind him during the debrief 😂😂😂. That may be the only Captain to tackle that group. Amazing writing, amazing narrator, amazing characters, Please keep them coming.

Disappointing...

I really enjoyed the first three books and looked forward to this one. However, in my opinion, the author lost track of what made the first ones so good.

The book was exceedingly boring for the first six chapters, then it had a few moments of excitement, but devolved into constant kibitzing among the troops! And disrespect to leaders in the higher chain-of-command! Plus, the author decided to add gratuitous F-Bombs, which became part of their dialogue! I do not care for a lot of cussing, especially when it is constant.

There were a few exciting moments, but many dull moments, with a lot of introspection. I am not planning on getting the next book, even though this one ending on a cliff hanger! Bummer!

Concerning the reader, she was great at providing different voices and adding a brogue, however, sometimes it was so strong that I had trouble understanding.

The character dynamics are evolving incredibly well. Stephanie is getting harder as she grows up, yet she still has that subtle innocence about her. Miss E has become one of my favs. Total dynamite in a sexy female package. Not to mention the development of the rest of the characters. Keep up the great work. Look forward to the next book

Ruined a guilty pleasure series for me

I'm going to start this off by mentioning this is my first review written despite owning nearly 100 titles at this point..
Honestly..this series has been a bit of a guilty pleasure series for me, as I find the characters to be.. annoying at points..amongst a list of other things..but those are not my complaint with this book in particular.
This book was so padded, you replace a bulletproof vest with it.
A strong example of this is later area of the book..(spoilers)
Tod and his squad do this long sequence of events taking over a dreadnought..
and later, not even 30-40 minutes of listening later..we get to hear them spend twice as long, if not more getting interviewed about it. Basically a giant recap, with dumb questions in between. I nearly quit listening at this point..it was so boring and dumb.
As I finished this book..I literally had to ask myself, what actual plot development we got out of it..and honestly it isn't much.
I'm not going to pick up the next one till after thoroughly reading the reviews on it..or maybe not at all.
In my opinion..this series isn't good..but has just enough elements of being decent, that I come back to it in between other series.
