Holds you interest

What did you like best about this story?

Although it had some redundancy and prolonged narrative, the plot was still fast moving and kept your interest. I listened to the entire book during a 2 day drive andmade the drive enjoyable.

What does Christian Hoff bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Excellent reasd in thatt you could tell the characters in the novel from his change of voice.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

It was not that type of book, but it did bring to the forefront, parent’s devotion to their children and contrasted with the villain’s irrational thought process.

It is hard to put down

A real thriller

Liked that this book showed How Is Alabama police can really Mess with you even though it's just going through a yellow light. Like.
All citizens, we are at their mercy.
And must do what they say.

The book was enjoyable, somewhat predictable, but a decent listen.

I have heard several and listen to more.

Narration was okay, but felt forced in spots.

No. The book finished neatly.

Great... at the beginning.

This started off really well. Other than the portrayal of the female voices, the narration was very good. The story became more and more implausible as time went on, and actually turned a bit ludicrous near the end, but my husband and I listened to it on a long car trip and managed to stick with it until the end. There was a lot of unnecessary and time wasting dialogue, however.
Not as good as some, but better than a lot I’ve listened to. I give it a lukewarm thumbs up.

A new twist in 15 seconds

This was a great story that had you wonder how all this can happen to such a good guy. Is he really good? The reader was good. The suspense will keep you listening.
