Love, love, love the Reapers..

**SIGH** Another Reaper story bites the dust. I absolutely love the Reapers, especially Erith/Death, she makes the entire book. But along with her the Reapers are awesome, too.

I really liked Bradach and Maeve. Bradach hated her because she was a Dark Fae, but that didn’t stop him from wanting her, or she him. They joined forces to find Usaeil and her Trackers and drew closer and closer. It was a great love story.

There was explicit sex in this story and the F-bomb was used 3 times.

As to the narration: Victoria McGloven has come a long way. From book 3 where I gave her a 2-star review to the last couple of 4-star reviews. Love Erith’s voice and the men now have men’s voices BUT she still doesn’t whisper or laugh when the book calls for it.

Secrets and Light vs Dark... A story of Love

This book takes place in Donna Grant’s Dark World and is apart Reaper series, a sub-series of the Dark King series. Some characters of this world appear in multiple books, thus long subplots are weaved throughout her books.

Bradach is a Reaper; a Light Fae betrayed and saved by Death. In order to serve as a one of Death’s Reapers he must keep secret who and what he is. Maeve, a Dark Fae business woman has secrets of her own, should her secret get out her business and very life would end. With secrets abound how can these two lovers make it through the mess and find both love and happiness.

As with all books from the Dark World, I found this book entertaining. Ms Grant spins a good tale. The biggest subplot of this book involves the Queen… Want to know more about Usaeil? If so, this book is a must read.

Another great story...

Bradach has been assigned the task of getting to know Maeve the Merciless. The information Maeve has could help the Reapers find Xaneth, a fae taken by Usaeil after he helped them defeated Bran. But Maeve is a dark fae and Bradach doesn’t know if he can work with the dark after his betrayal until he meets Maeve and finds himself drawn to her. Maeve is a strong intelligent woman who has a business to run and only agrees to help because her king personally asks her. But there is something about Bradach that intrigues her. Dark Alphas Redemption is book 8 in the Reapers series by Donna Grant. If you are new to Donna Grant's books you will not be disappointed. To learn all of the characters and get the backstory I highly recommend starting with book 1 of the Reaper series or better yet start at the beginning of the Dark World series with Dark Sword. Victoria McGloven does an amazing job narrating. I love her voices for the characters, especially Erith
