Important, Historical and Deeply Moving

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. I wanted to hear her tell her story in her own words and to listen to the compassion and insight I grew to admire during the campaign. Every day since January 20th has been a nightmare, every single day. I can’t even listen to the news anymore because it’s overwhelming to see how fast democracy is slipping away. She won’t say it, but we all think it, she told us so. All of it. No surprises, just deep disappointment. I’m so glad I can say I voted for the right person. Even when she lost, she thought of the country, not herself. I cried all over again hearing her relive the election results. History has its eyes on us, glad her account will be available as they access what happened before the fall.

Very good book

She could have just said, “I told you so,” and left it at that. She SHOULD have. Because she didn’t, I respect her even more. Thank you, Kamala.

Very Illuminating

Loved hearing her impressions of events as they unfolded. So off what she understand how well she carried that wet. Still “gutted” that we are all now hostages of this tyrant because a third of the country couldn’t be bothered to make a choice at all. She very nearly pulled it off. I hope we survive this iteration of insanity.

She was screwed from the start

Kamala does a wonderful job of sharing the 107 days of her campaign trail along with the laying the backstory for better clarity. The strength she had and continues to show in her effort to protect our democracy is astounding.

The sincerity in her voice.

As an advid fan of behind the scene content, this did not disappoint. I was surprised by some events, sadden by a few events and downright angry at some of them! The counting down of the days kept me engaged even though I knew the end result. Getting there was one hell of a ride.

Honesty, Integrity and Grace

Kamala shared the story of her campaign, she spoke with honesty—you could hear it in her words. Her voice carried both disappointment and frustration, yet also grace in accepting reality and moving forward with a clear vision of what must be done to save our democracy.

Really enjoyed her perspective on those 107 days

Thoughtful analysis of the ups and downs of the abbreviated campaign. I resonated her view on events I was aware during that time. I didn’t hear her blaming others versus taking responsibility for her own stuff. I’m willing to bet she talked with folks beforehand and/or has left the door open for them to talk with her further. Although it was difficult to go through the series of what I consider heartbreaking and disappointing results, it was important to do so—cathartic.

Outstanding Recap of a Historical Moment in Time!!!

I get nostalgic imagining what our country could be had she ascended to the Presidency!

Clear, direct, satisfying

Frustrated, angry, saddened, p*****, shocked, grateful. These are just some of my feelings after reading this book. I am hopeful. I too, live in the state of California. Born and raised here. I am proud of Kamala Harris' leadership and for her work in writing this book. I encourage you to read this book. Then pass it on and share it with as many friends and family that you can. Let them read and learn and come to their own conclusions as they find hope and courage to move forward in their lives.

Informative, and validating her goodness! If only she became Madame President! Things would be so much more settling than by as we see it now!
