mispronounced words/names

Loved the Sanibel series, so started this one. I like the story thus far, so I have already purchased the next two books in this series, but the narration takes away from the story. The accents are sometimes inconsistent from one interaction to the next such as Val’s, several names are routinely mispronounced such as the main character’s when referred to as BAck I stead of Beck, and there are odd word exaggeration at times.

Sweet story

This is a sweet easy listen. It’s book one of a series, so perhaps that’s the reason it end abruptly. Lovely is the only character that might entice me to listen to book two.
Narration was meh.

Book 1 Coconut Key

I thoroughly enjoyed " A Secret in the Keys", by Hope Holloway! Its a contemporary story of love, betrayal, relationships, and forgiveness. There is so much in the story that is easily relative to, Divorce, Mother and daughter relationships, male & female relationships, change, and second chances. I did need my tissue box for a bit there near the end, but you still get your HEA! 😍

I feel like I know the characters.

Love the story and characters. I will read them all! Starting book 4 now! Keep up the beach themed books!

Cute start to a series

I really liked this book. Cute story and likable characters. I will definitely continue to series!

Easy Listening

Brings to mind vacations at the beach. Light romance. I only remember one instance when it went past being a clean romance - there was a mention of 'doing someone'.

Clean and good story

I have enjoyed listening to hundreds (thousands) of books and lately even the stories I enjoy listening to, has some much sex that I end up skipping whole chapters. I’m by no means a prude, but really, every other chapter. I like the story in this book enough to get the rest of the series. I really like listening to an entire book without skipping anything.

Kept my attention!

I thought this was an excellent story line and can’t wait to listen to Book 2!

Loved, loved, LOVED this book!

This book is the perfect blend of women's fiction, with a bit of romance woven in. SUCH a feel-good story! I've already bought book 2 of the series. The narrator brought the story to life in a good way. I need to get my work done today, but all I want to do is spend time on Coconut Key!

SUMMER FAVORITE!

I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF THIS SERIES. ALL 7 BOOKS ARE AMAZING AND THE NARRATOR KNOCKED IT.OUT OF THE PARK! SHE BROUGHT SO MUCH LIFE TO THE STORY AND CHARACTERS. I WISH THERE WERE MORE BOOKS IN THIS SERIES.
