Interesting facts with explanations

I like that this audiobook had interesting facts with explanations for each fact, but some of them were common knowledge (at least for me).

Truly Surprising Facts

This book truly delivers what the title promises. I knew less than 10 of the 101 facts, and they did indeed surprise me . . . especially the distance between Africa and Europe!

It was a fun listen as I did errands around town. I remember a few of the facts which really jumped out at me. I figure I'll listen to it again in a while and refresh my memory. A great time to listen would be on your way to a family reunion or get together so you can stump nieces and nephews and look like the super smart uncle or aunt. Might also be a good listen on the way to a cocktail party so you have some fodder for small talk.

Perfect for driving with kids

My family has always loved trivia games and these kinds of audiobooks where you discover and learn new things. And this one was one of their favorites. They learned a lot and kept them engaged; also, the facts are pretty cool! It's perfect for road trips or driving with kids. I would rather them learn something cool than giving them a phone to keep them entertained.

Blew my mind!

Wow, I learned so much. My husband and I listened to this on our road trip to Florida, and we were intrigued and amazed the whole time. We both love learning about new things, and I love being educated on the world and history. If you are looking for something to listen to besides the radio, this is a great book. The narrator has a great voice as well.

Did you know that there are more bikes than people in the Netherlands? OR that the Sarah Dessert is bigger than the entire United States? This book has a ton of fun facts that you never would imagine learning. My grandchildren and I listen to this while running errands.

The book gives facts around different topics that I found helpful to listen to and many points. I find that these facts will engage kids, which is what I want to achieve. It will help engage kids and sharpen their minds during travel and family bonding times.
