An honest take on this amazing book!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Not only was it full of good information and witty jokes (as with all the works of Thomas Frank), but it also really made a difference! One of the things I really wanted to work on was my ability to take notes while in a lecture, and to get better at active reading. When listening to this audiobook, I took notes the entire time! In doing so, I absorbed all of the information more efficiently, and actually discovered my own spin on note taking that I thoroughly enjoy. On another note, I believe this book is just long enough to give you all the information you need, but short enough to keep you interested (the condensed format really makes this a fantastic, and quick, read). I would recommend this to anyone who has an interest in working on themselves and being a lifelong learner. Surprisingly, I’d even recommend it to people who already watch his YouTube channel. Even though he talks about everything in this book on his channel, the order of which the information is in, and how it has been refined, makes this book an amazing compliment to his YouTube videos!

Loved it. Great tips that I could have used years ago, but I will still use with modifications as I go into trade school. There were helpful reminders of concepts I forget to implement. I suppose I could relate easily because I'm a nerd...and a gamer. Might want to get a second opinion 🤔

Great Book! Good for long car rides!
I'm a college freshman and I live about 30 minutes from my school. I really got into Thomas's channel when I was in high school and I saw that he offered his book for free to his subscribers. After downloading the PDF, I quickly realized that I didn't have time to read another book on top of my textbooks, so I opted to get the audiobook version. This book is great to listen to on the way to school to get myself into the studious mindset, and I love seeing where I can apply what I learned in the morning throughout my day. Good read 10/10 would reccomend.

Simple, easy to understand and effective
I've been a long time follower of Thomas Frank, and this, perhaps is one of his best works. Having already read the book, the tips, tricks and advice given in the book gives a clear picture of what you need to do to succeed, and with Frank's advice, the ideas are simple to implement in your life. Having listened to the book, I feel like I have absorbed more, as hearing the author himself read it feels more personal, and his informative yet friendly tone keeps the listener engaged throughout. Highly recommended to my fellow students and others alike!
