Beautiful message for conquering negative thoughts and messages of the enemy in one’s life. Louie applies how God has worked in the ups and downs of his own life, work and relationships and gave him the grace of an epiphany to transform him and become more Christ like. Preaches in a way to engage your imagination, practically apply it to your life and to reach your heart with God’s loving presence. He has a mature theology of making our sufferings redemptive as well. Good formation on how to keep boundaries in the areas that matter most and live a more grace filled life. He gives a powerful meditation breaking open Psalm 23 to allow the Good Shepherd to renovate our hearts so that we are able to hear and be lead by the Lord and not the voices of the enemy. He gives practical advice on sustaining hope and faith as we all wrestle with the hard parts, griefs, failures and storms of life. Exactly what people need to hear

Louie is great. His pentameter is paced for easy listening and the content is engaging. Psalm 23 is such a deep passage of scripture that is so often glazed over because we’ve heard it a million times. Louie slows it down and made me realize I was missing some truths that I needed to hear. This was encouraging, challenging, and edifying. It’s one that I will listen to more than once. I was initially bummed that the book portion was over with almost 2hrs left in the recording, but the bonus interview and bonus sermon at the end were not a disappointment. This is a great book and one that I will be gifting to others.

How to see my own wrong thinking

This book helped me make a change in my thinking. I now see negative thoughts as stumbling blocks to hearing God. My brain is being rewired as I choose faith in God over feelings. God's word is so powerful. Thank you for this exploration of Psalms 23!
