Amazing storytelling and an all around amazing book

Murray and Darren have did it again and wrote this amazing masterpiece The Brink!!! It’s an amazing book just like Awakened and Murray is an amazing narrator making the audio book that much more enjoyable!!! Horror and non horror fans alike can enjoy this fast paced thriller and you won’t be disappointed!!!

Not as good as the first book

Entertaining but not as good as the first book and kind of goes in an awkward direction

Murr is my favorite joker

I felt the villain was a little to over the top, I mean nazi in a wheelchair is a bit much. The other problem I have is I know Murray and his voice too well and I actually had a problem listening to him as a narrator because I really just saw an anthropomorphic ferret in a robe reading to me. All that aside I enjoy the story and James is not a bad narrator. Murray is one of the top influential people in my list of inspiring individuals. Based on what the others said he is the main reason that Impractical Jokers exists, Sal has called him one of the most driven individuals he knows. I know that Murr is often the butt of the show but when I look at James S Murray I see an inspiration! I enjoyed the first two books and want to hear the third one soon hopefully. Keep it up Murray you effing rock!

What happened?

I really enjoyed the first book, but this one leaves much to be desired. Too much gawking and freezing from the “heroes?” How could they be surprised at this point? Why aren’t they ready for anything? They keep getting caught in totality predictable situations. Still a decent story, but a far cry from the fist book. None of the heroes have learned to be decisive or ruthless like the villain, and the lack of intestinal fortitude bothers me to no end.

I really like monster tales and this one is just passible. I hope the next book is better.
