  • Are You Really Rooting for Her? The Truth About Being a Girl's Girl

Have you ever caught yourself publicly cheering for another woman while privately wondering, "When will it be my turn?" That tension between performance and authenticity is exactly what Coach Tocha Moore unpacks in this honest conversation about what it truly means to be a "girl's girl" in today's social media-driven world.

Beyond the trending hashtags and inspirational reposts lies a deeper question we must ask ourselves: Are we genuinely celebrating other women's successes, or are we just going through the motions while harboring silent competition? With refreshing transparency, Coach Tocha admits her own journey from comparison to true celebration, revealing how a scarcity mindset can poison even our most well-intentioned support of other women.

The breakthrough comes with a powerful realization: purpose is not a pie with limited slices to distribute. Your unique calling and blessing are secure and cannot be stolen or diminished by someone else's success. This fundamental shift transforms how we show up for the women in our lives – moving from performative support to authentic celebration rooted in abundance rather than fear.

Coach Tocha offers three practical strategies for becoming a true "girl's girl": blessing women both privately and publicly, checking your motives before engaging, and celebrating without qualification. These simple but profound practices create a foundation for genuine sisterhood that transcends surface-level support.

Ready to transform how you support the women in your life? Text a woman today and tell her something specific you admire about her. Your journey to becoming a real champion of other women starts with this episode – because when we truly understand that another woman's light doesn't dim our own, we create limitless possibilities for all of us to shine together.

  • Ghosting Yourself? It's Time to RSVP Yes to You
    Apr 9 2025

What if the most loving thing you could do for everyone in your life was to choose yourself first? Girl today - we tackle the guilt, fear, and misconceptions that keep us from prioritizing our own wellbeing.

Choosing yourself doesn't make you selfish—it's the foundation for showing up powerfully in every relationship and responsibility. I share my own journey of constantly putting others first until I realized I had completely "ghosted" myself, and how learning to prioritize my needs has actually made me more effective in serving others. We dive into why choosing yourself is not selfish but necessary for being the best version of yourself in all your relationships and responsibilities.

    • Choosing yourself doesn't mean you don't love others - it means stopping patterns where everything matters except you
    • When you don't choose yourself, others will fill your calendar and make decisions for you
    • Guilt often prevents self-prioritization because society expects women to be available 24/7
    • God didn't call you to be everyone's savior - He already sent one
    • Like a vessel needing refilling, your emotional, spiritual and physical needs require regular attention
    • Morning check-ins help identify what you need emotionally, spiritually and physically each day
    • Set boundaries without apologies - "The version of me God is building requires rest"
    • Speak life over yourself before the world speaks over you
    • When you choose yourself, you teach others (especially children) they can do the same
    • You don't have to abandon anyone to stay true to yourself - just make room for you too

  • When Life Breaks You: Finding Purpose in Pain
    Mar 12 2025

    Send us a text

Grief can either break us completely or break us open to a new purpose. Kim Clora chose the latter path after losing her mother to breast cancer in 2005. What began as overwhelming anger and sadness transformed into a mission that now touches countless lives through the Jacqueline Rogers Foundation.

"I was the meanest thing walking," Kim candidly shares, describing her initial response to grief. "I was mad at God. I was mad at everybody that was happy. I was mad at everybody that was sad." With remarkable vulnerability, she reveals how losing her mother—her greatest supporter and advocate—left her feeling like "a motherless child" for the first time, struggling to function in a world that kept spinning while hers had stopped.

The turning point came through a combination of loving confrontation from friends, reflection on her mother's legacy, and ultimately, the decision to honor her mother by helping others facing similar battles. Today, the Jacqueline Rogers Foundation provides financial support to women battling cancer—with a crucial difference from other organizations. Recipients can use the funds however they need, without restrictions. "Your car payment may be needed, insurance may need to be paid, your kids need shoes on their feet," Kim explains. "Life doesn't stop because you've been diagnosed."

What makes Kim's story particularly powerful are the wisdom gems she drops throughout our conversation: "If you tell me no, that means you're not a part of my journey—it doesn't mean the journey stops." And perhaps most liberating for perfectionists: "Do it messy, because messy you can clean up. Perfection is a problem."

Through fashion shows featuring cancer patients on the runway, community fundraisers, and her upcoming "Beauty in Brokenness" workshop, Kim demonstrates how grief can become a gateway to purpose when we choose to carry our loved ones with us rather than feeling we've left them behind.
