“The God problem" sounds like an oxymoron. Shouldn’t we be going to God with our problems instead of saying that God is a problem?

With all the counseling centers, recovery meetings, and help out there now. There’s seems to be such a clear plan of action, at least for Recovery Refuge and ministries like it, why are more people dying and the addiction/alcohol problem growing instead of declining.

Probably the most common question for those who are outside of the recovery world and even for those inside of it. Why don’t people who struggle with drug or alcohol addictions stop? Just don’t use them. Even for those who struggle with sex, porn, or food addictions, why not just stop?
