Join us as we talk about our most recent adventure... The Ironman Lake Placid. We signed up for this thing nearly a year ago and have barely talked about it as if it were some basic 5K, mostly because we didn't really want people knowing what we were up to in case it didn't unfold as planned. We share about our training, our "why" we signed up and how the day went. Another great episode full of laughs and all things running.

Join us as we shakeout with 2024 Cape Elizabeth grad, Emma Young. Emma was known well for her running talent in high school but she was and still is SO much more than a runner. Emma was a 2024 National STEM Champion where she reported her research on RED-S (Relative Energy Deficiency Syndrome) in High School Cross Country Athletes. She currently attends and runs cross country and track at Rice University. We took the time in this episode to talk to Emma about her research on RED-S. Her passion is clear and so is her message to high school athletes, especially young women. In her words, "Having a strong old lady body down the road is SO much cooler than being fast in high school." Another educational and lovely shakeout.
