    On Day 20, we discuss the pursuit of happiness. We often believe if we just get this thing, create this experience, or have this life, we will finally be happy!

    The truth is, we are not actually chasing happiness-- you are chasing peace. Highs and lows are part of life, so expecting yourself to feel happy all the time is not sustainable. When you access peace, you can be in the middle of the storm, or in the highest of high places, and feel the same in both experiences.

    Happiness is an endless chase, peace comes from being happy with yourself and your choices.

    Action Step Today:

    Are you still chasing happiness? Do you have a belief that if you just "got this thing" that you will finally allow yourself to feel happy?

    Today, aim for being at peace instead of feeling happy. What can I do to find peace today?

    On Day 15, we dive into trusting through fear-- we often have a story that says that we "can't trust life" because of what "life has put us through". When we further examine this story, we can see that it's actually the actions we've taken out of fear that have created the suffering in our lives, and we then blamed life for it.

    So from now on, our job is to trust more than we fear life.

    Action Step Today:

    As you move through your day today, ask yourself where each choice you make it coming from:

    Is it coming from trust in life, or fear of life?

    Make separate boxes or sections on paper and write each choice down. Are more of your choices in the "fear" box or "trust" box at the end of the day?
