  • Story of Scripture--Day #77 "Faith that Saves" (Joshua 2)
    Mar 18 2026

Day 77 — “Faith That Saves”
    Joshua 2

Joshua 2 reminds us that God’s saving grace often shows up in the most unexpected places and through the most unexpected people.

Rahab was a woman with a broken past and a reputation that would have caused many to write her off. She lived in a pagan city marked for judgment. From a human perspective, she seemed far from God and far from hope. But when she heard about the power of the Lord and believed that He was the true God, everything changed.

Rahab’s faith was not just something she felt inwardly—it moved her to act. She hid the spies, risked her life, and placed her trust in the God of Israel. In doing so, she became a beautiful picture of what saving faith looks like: hearing the truth, believing it, and responding in obedience.

What is so powerful about this chapter is that Rahab’s faith did not impact her alone. Her faith became the means by which her household was spared. This is a reminder that God’s grace is bigger than our past, stronger than our shame, and able to reach into places we might assume are too far gone.

Joshua 2 is a chapter of hope. It shows us that no background disqualifies someone from the mercy of God. No label is greater than His grace. No past is beyond redemption. The same God who saved Rahab is still saving people today—people with messy stories, painful histories, and unlikely beginnings.

Faith that saves is not about having it all together. It is about placing your trust in the right Savior.

Today’s episode is a reminder that God delights in rescuing people, rewriting stories, and bringing outsiders into His family. Rahab’s story proves that grace crosses boundaries, breaks barriers, and changes destinies.

  • Alignment #9--Staying Focused When Distractions Come
    Mar 17 2026

Episode 9 — Staying Focused When Distractions Come
    📖 Nehemiah 6

Anytime God is doing a great work, opposition is never far behind.

In Nehemiah 6, the wall is almost finished—but so is the enemy’s urgency. The attacks shift from physical threats to subtle distractions, deception, and intimidation. Invitations are sent. Rumors are spread. Fear is weaponized.

But Nehemiah refuses to come down.

His response is simple, powerful, and focused:
“I am doing a great work and I cannot come down.”

That’s the kind of clarity every believer needs.

Because not every opportunity is from God.
Not every voice deserves your attention.
And not every urgent request is aligned with your calling.

Nehemiah shows us what discernment looks like in real time:
    • He recognizes distraction for what it is
    • He refuses to be pulled off assignment
    • He stands firm when fear tries to take over

Even when false accusations rise and pressure increases, Nehemiah doesn’t panic—he prays. He doesn’t retreat—he presses forward. He doesn’t compromise—he stays committed.

And because of that… the work gets finished.

This chapter reminds us that the enemy often doesn’t need to destroy you—he just needs to distract you. If he can pull you away from what God has called you to do, he’s already won half the battle.

But like Nehemiah, we are called to stay focused.

    There will always be noise.
    There will always be pressure.
There will always be voices trying to pull you away.

But when you know your calling, you can say with confidence:
“I am doing a great work… and I cannot come down.”

So the question is—what has God called you to build?
And what distractions do you need to refuse this week?

Stay focused. Stay faithful. Finish the work.

  • Story of Scripture--Day #76 "Courage to Obey"
    Mar 17 2026

Day 76 — Courage to Obey
    📖 Joshua 1

    Moses is gone.
A new generation stands on the edge of the Promised Land.
    And now Joshua must lead.

Imagine the weight of that moment. Moses had led Israel for forty years. He had spoken with God face to face. And now Joshua is stepping into leadership after one of the greatest figures in biblical history.

God knows the challenge Joshua is facing, so He gives him a clear command:

    “Be strong and courageous.”

But Joshua’s courage wasn’t supposed to come from personality, strength, or leadership ability. God tells him exactly where his courage must come from:

    God’s Word.

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night.” (Joshua 1:8)

Joshua’s success would not come from strategy or military power—it would come from obedience to God.

Joshua 1 reminds us that real courage is not reckless confidence.
True courage is trusting God enough to obey Him.

When we anchor our lives in God’s Word, we discover the strength we need to step forward in faith.

  • Story of Scripture--Day #75 "The Faithfulness of God Continues" (Deuteronomy 34)
    Mar 16 2026

Day 75 — “The Faithfulness of God Continues”

    📖 Deuteronomy 34

The book of Deuteronomy closes with one of the most powerful and emotional moments in the Old Testament. After leading Israel for forty years through the wilderness, Moses climbs Mount Nebo where the Lord allows him to look across the land that had been promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. From that mountain, Moses sees the Promised Land stretching before him—land he had spent decades leading Israel toward.

Yet Moses will not enter it.

Because of his earlier disobedience at Meribah (Numbers 20), the Lord told him he would see the land but not step into it. It is a sobering reminder that even great leaders are accountable before God. Moses was faithful in many ways, but God still holds His servants to His word.

After seeing the land, Moses dies there on the mountain, and Scripture tells us something remarkable: God Himself buried Moses in the land of Moab. To this day, the exact location of his grave is unknown.

The people of Israel mourn Moses for thirty days, grieving the loss of the man who had led them out of Egypt, through the Red Sea, and across the wilderness. Under Moses’ leadership, they had seen God perform extraordinary miracles—plagues in Egypt, manna from heaven, water from the rock, and the giving of the Law at Mount Sinai.

Yet even with Moses gone, God’s work is not finished.

The chapter ends by pointing forward to Joshua, whom Moses had already commissioned as the next leader of Israel. Joshua is described as being “full of the spirit of wisdom,” because Moses had laid his hands on him. Leadership passes to the next generation, and the mission of God continues.

The final verses honor Moses in a profound way. Scripture says there had never been a prophet like Moses—one whom the Lord knew face to face, who performed such mighty signs and wonders. Moses was unique in his relationship with God and his role in Israel’s history.

But even Moses was not the center of the story.

Deuteronomy 34 reminds us of a powerful truth about God’s work throughout history:

God buries His servants, but His mission keeps moving forward.

Leaders come and go. Generations rise and fall. But the faithfulness of God continues. The promises He made to Abraham are still unfolding. The story of redemption is still moving forward.

And that truth still applies today.

No single leader carries the entire work of God. No individual is indispensable. God graciously allows people to participate in His purposes for a season, but the mission always belongs to Him.

The same God who worked through Moses would soon work through Joshua. And the same faithful God is still carrying out His plan today.

The faithfulness of God continues from generation to generation.

  • Story of Scripture--Day #74 "Be Strong and Courageous" (Deuteronomy 31)
    Mar 15 2026

Day 74 — Be Strong and Courageous
    📖 Deuteronomy 31

Leadership transitions can be uncertain. Seasons change. People move on. The future can feel unknown.

In Deuteronomy 31, Moses stands before Israel at the end of his life and passes the leadership to Joshua. But before he steps away, he gives a powerful command that echoes through Scripture:

Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6, ESV)

The source of courage is not personal strength.
    It is God’s presence.

Joshua was about to lead a nation into unknown territory. Battles were ahead. Challenges were inevitable. Yet the promise remained the same: God would go with them.

    That promise still stands today.

    When the future feels uncertain…
    When responsibility feels overwhelming…
When the path ahead seems intimidating…

Remember this truth: God never sends His people where His presence does not go.

Courage is not the absence of fear.
It is the confidence that God is already ahead of you.

    💬 Reflection:
Where do you need to trust God’s presence today?

  • Story of Scripture--Day #73 "Choose Life"
    Mar 14 2026

    DAY 73 — CHOOSE LIFE

In Deuteronomy 30, Moses gives Israel one of the most powerful invitations in Scripture.

    God says:

    Life or death.
    Blessing or curse.
    Obedience or rebellion.

    Then He pleads with them:

    “Choose life.”

Following God is not just about rules.
It is about choosing the path that leads to true life.

Every day we make decisions that move us closer to God or further away from Him.

Today is another opportunity to choose life.

    Mar 13 2026

    Day 72 — “A Prophet Like Moses”
    📖 Deuteronomy 18

As Moses prepared Israel for life in the Promised Land, he gave them an incredible promise:

“The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you… to him you shall listen.”(Deuteronomy 18:15)

Israel would not be left without God’s voice. One day, God would send a greater prophet—one who would speak with divine authority and reveal God’s truth perfectly.

Throughout history, many prophets spoke God’s word.
But this promise ultimately points to Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the greater prophet Moses foretold:
    • Moses delivered Israel from slavery in Egypt.
Jesus delivers us from slavery to sin.

    • Moses gave the Law.
Jesus fulfills the Law and reveals God’s grace.

In Acts 3:22, Peter clearly identifies Jesus as the fulfillment of this promise.

God did not leave humanity searching for truth.

    He sent His Son.

And the call remains the same today as it was in Moses’ day:

    Listen to Him.

  • Alignment #8--When the Threat is Internal
    Mar 12 2026

Episode 8 — When the Threat Is Internal
    📖 Nehemiah 5

Not every threat to God’s work comes from the outside.

Sometimes the greatest danger is within the community itself.

While the wall of Jerusalem was being rebuilt, a crisis emerged among the people. The wealthy were exploiting the poor, families were losing their land, and some were even forced to sell their children into servitude.

The mission was moving forward—but the integrity of the community was breaking down.

Nehemiah understood something every leader must learn:

    Alignment requires integrity.

He confronted the injustice directly, calling the leaders to repentance and restoring what had been taken. But he also modeled a different kind of leadership.

Instead of using his position for personal gain, Nehemiah refused the governor’s allowance and used his own resources to serve the people.

    Why?

“Because of the fear of God.” (Nehemiah 5:15)

God’s work cannot be sustained where exploitation is tolerated.

    True leadership protects the people.
    True integrity restores trust.
    And true alignment preserves unity.

Because sometimes the most important battles are not against enemies outside the walls…

They are fought within the heart of the community.
