  • Kingdom Lens--When the Church Hurts: Healing Through the Eyes of Christ!
    Oct 23 2025

🎧 Episode 5 Recap — “When the Church Hurts: Healing Through the Eyes of Christ”

In this episode, Pastor John walks us through one of the most painful and often unspoken experiences in the Christian life — being hurt by the church. Drawing from Psalm 34:18, John 13:34–35, and Galatians 6:1–2, he reminds us that while people can wound us, Jesus never does. Christ meets us in our pain, calls us to love even when it’s hard, and shows us a better way — the way of restoration, forgiveness, and grace.

We learn that healing begins by bringing our hurt honestly before God, remembering that Jesus understands betrayal, and choosing forgiveness as an act of faith. Pastor John reminds us that true love doesn’t ignore sin but restores gently, and that the Church, though imperfect, is still God’s idea — a place He longs to redeem.

By the end, we discover that God never wastes a wound. The same grace that heals us can help us become agents of healing for others. When we forgive, rebuild trust, and love again, we reflect the heart of Christ — turning our scars into stories of redemption.

  • Kingdom Lens--The Media Mirror: Shaping Minds and Morals
    Oct 22 2025

🎙️ Episode 4 Recap — The Media Mirror: Shaping Minds and Morals

In this episode, Pastor John explores how modern media has become more than just entertainment—it’s a mirror reflecting, shaping, and often distorting our beliefs, values, and moral compass. From the constant noise of social media to the subtle messages woven into movies, music, and news cycles, we’re reminded that the battle for the mind is real.

Drawing from Philippians 4:8 and Romans 12:2, Pastor John challenges us to think critically and biblically about what we consume. God calls His people not to be conformed to the world’s pattern but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Every click, scroll, and screen moment has the power to either feed faith or fuel fear, to strengthen truth or spread confusion.

This conversation digs deep into how we can guard our hearts in a media-saturated world—by filtering everything through God’s truth, cultivating discernment, and filling our minds with what is “true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable.” It’s not just about unplugging—it’s about replacing distortion with devotion and choosing media that points us back to the heart of Christ.

The takeaway? You become what you behold. So if the media is a mirror, make sure what it reflects most clearly is Jesus.

  • Kingdom Lens--The Identity Crisis
    Oct 16 2025

Episode 3 Recap — The Identity Crisis

In this episode, we tackled one of the biggest questions of our time: Who am I?

We began in Genesis 1:26–27, where Scripture reveals that every person is made in the image of God. This means our worth is not built on appearance, achievement, or approval—it comes from the Creator Himself. Being male and female is part of God’s good design, and our very existence carries divine purpose.

We then looked at Genesis 3, where sin fractured that identity. Instead of living securely as God’s image-bearers, humanity turned inward and tried to define identity apart from God. The result was shame, insecurity, and endless searching for worth in fragile places—career, looks, relationships, and even shifting desires.

But the story doesn’t end there. In Ephesians 2:1–10, Paul describes how God restores our identity through Jesus. Though we were dead in sin, God, rich in mercy, made us alive in Christ. We are saved by grace, not works, and we are called His workmanship—His masterpiece—created for good works prepared beforehand.

We then explored what it means to actually live from that identity:

    • Confidence instead of insecurity.
    • Purpose instead of aimlessness.
    • Freedom instead of fear.
    • Integrity instead of compromise.
    • Compassion instead of comparison.
    • Hope instead of despair.

The bottom line is this: Identity is not something you create—it’s something you receive. You are not defined by your past, your performance, or people’s opinions. You are who God says you are: His beloved child, His workmanship, alive in Christ, saved by grace, and secure forever in His love.

  • Kingdom Lens--Living in Babylon: Thriving in a Secular World

Living in Babylon: Thriving in a Secular World

In this episode, we looked at the story of Daniel and his friends in Daniel 1. Taken into exile as teenagers, they were pressured to abandon their faith and adopt Babylonian culture, names, and practices. Yet in the middle of a hostile environment, Daniel made a crucial choice: “Daniel resolved that he would not defile himself” (Daniel 1:8).

    Key Themes:

    • Faithfulness in a foreign land: Babylon tried to reshape Daniel’s identity, but he chose loyalty to God over compromise. True conviction must be settled in the heart before the test comes.
    • Courage with conviction: Daniel stood firm, but he did so with humility and respect. His courage wasn’t loud or arrogant — it was steady, rooted in faith. Courage without compassion becomes cruelty, but compassion without courage becomes compromise.
    • God’s faithfulness to the faithful: Each step of Daniel’s obedience was met with God’s favor. Three times the text says, “God gave” — He gave Daniel favor, wisdom, and influence. Faithfulness came first, then favor followed.
    • Wisdom from Babylon: Daniel and his friends were found “ten times better” than all others in the kingdom. This wasn’t because they mastered Babylon’s system, but because they feared God. Real wisdom comes not from cleverness, but from intimacy with Him.

    Takeaways for Today:

    1. Resolve your convictions before the pressure comes.
    2. Stand firm with grace and humility.
    3. Trust God with the results — faithfulness is your responsibility, favor is His.

    Bottom Line:
You don’t have to control Babylon to thrive in it. Like Daniel, you can live with conviction, courage, and wisdom. God is still sovereign, and His people can still shine.

  • Kingdom Lens--The Battle for Truth
    Oct 9 2025

Episode 1 — The Battle for Truth

    Scripture: John 18:37–38; 2 Timothy 4:3–4
Theme: Standing firm for truth in a world of confusion.

In this opening episode, John unpacks one of the most pressing issues of our time — the struggle over truth itself. When Jesus stood before Pilate and declared, “For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world—to bear witness to the truth,” Pilate cynically replied, “What is truth?” (John 18:37–38). That same question echoes loudly in our culture today.

We live in an age where feelings often outweigh facts, and personal preference is mistaken for moral authority. But God’s Word reminds us that truth is not an opinion to be shaped — it’s a Person to be known. Jesus Christ doesn’t merely speak truth; He is Truth (John 14:6).

Drawing from Paul’s warning in 2 Timothy 4:3–4, the episode explores how easily people “turn away from listening to the truth” and chase after teachings that fit their desires. John challenges listeners to examine where they’re finding their truth — social media, culture, or Scripture — and calls believers to anchor their convictions in the unchanging Word of God.

Ultimately, this episode invites the listener to join the “battle for truth” not with hostility, but with humility and courage — standing firm in love, holding fast to the gospel, and letting their lives reflect the reality that truth still matters because Jesus still reigns.

  • Spiritual Warfare--The Power of Community
    Oct 1 2025

🙌 Episode 9 — The Power of Community
We were never meant to fight alone.

This week’s episode reminded us that in the battle of faith, two are better than one (Ecclesiastes 4:9–12). God designed the Church as a family — a place where accountability strengthens us, encouragement lifts us, and unity helps us overcome.

When one stumbles, another lifts them up. When one grows weary, another speaks courage. That’s how victory is lived out — together.

🎧 Listen now to be reminded that you are not alone in this fight.
