  • (Bonus) Liz's Last Unicorn Synopsis
    Apr 13 2026

In this (very) short bonus episode, hear Liz's 3-minute primer on the plot and themes of The Last Unicorn, recorded shortly before we all watched the movie for the episode.

This episode is strictly optional, but is recommended if your reaction to the full episode is "I don't know that movie, so I won't be able to follow along."

  • The Last Unicorn (1982)
    Apr 13 2026

We complete our tour of formative childhood movies for the crew by visiting Liz's all-timer, The Last Unicorn, a lesser-known but terribly interesting animated film released in 1982. (To pre-empt one question we've already received: this is not to be confused with the film "Death of a Unicorn" from 2025...very different movie! In this one, the unicorn doesn't die, and that's kind of the whole point. Themes of immortality, and so on.)

Listen in, and we guarantee the nimblest of possible transitions between contemplating the pain and depths of mortal existence and discussing whether a certain flesh-colored living tree is meant to be trapping a man between a pair of breasts or a pair of balls.

This is the least-known film we've covered on the show to date, but we're glad to embrace variety. We do cover key details to help you follow along, and we hope it's still a good hang.

  • (Bonus) March Mailbag + Twilight: New Moon
    Mar 28 2026

It's just like they always say: March comes in like a vampire and out like a werewolf.

We were just bursting with extra content, needing to cover reactions and comments to two episodes (Jurassic Park and Heated Rivalry), plus, hey, we watched New Moon and we have some thoughts. So, here's our second bonus episode!

Come for the stories behind our first PG-13 and R-rated movies, stay for the chill hangout vibes, the Canonical List of Timelessly Attractive and Non-Problematic Men, and Kirkland Signature Bulk Jorts. If you listen carefully, you'll also catch a hint of a "vampires suck" joke from Adam completely flop, to no reaction whatsoever from the other hosts, as if it never happened.

  • Twilight (2008)
    Mar 2 2026

In their most ✨sparkling✨ episode yet, Adam, Liz, and Maggie visit Forks, Washington, where a sullen vampire and his mortal paramour stare at each other a lot while having excellent hair.

Listen in for our takes on Team Edward vs. Team Jacob, a read of Twilight through "I can fix him" discourse, shots fired at Tuck Everlasting fans in the cold open, and whether a grown man seeing Twilight for the first time can appreciate all the teenage yearning. And also Bella's hair, did we mention the hair?

  • (Bonus) Heated Rivalry
    Feb 14 2026

In honor of the Winter Olympics *and* Valentine's Day 2026, join the crew for a very special episode, about a certain HBO Max hockey show that is rather more about true love than it is about hockey.

If you have not heard of this show before...then we are SO glad to be the ones to tell you about it. The panel is laser-focused on one question: "Why is Heated Rivalry so good?" Tune in for many answers, all of which are guaranteed 100% correct.

  • Jurassic Park (1993)
    Feb 2 2026

Adam, Liz, and Maggie discuss the classic Steven Spielberg film about an overfunded theme park venture that faces operational collapse due to poor IT staffing choices. Oh, and dinosaurs!

Featuring meditations on the film's most quotable lines, relitigation of how attractive 90s-era Jeff Golblum is, and Maggie's audition to voice the velociraptor in the next sequel. We've also edited in our first "mailbag" segment, bringing in reactions to the podcast as a whole and to last month's Episode 1.
