Black People Die By Suicide Too is the platform dedicated to normalizing the conversation about suicide in the Black community. This panel discussion - How To Support Your Loved One With Suicide Thoughts - addresses suicide in the Black community and offers advice on how to assist individuals who struggle with suicidal ideation. The panel features mental health professionals, including Dr. LaNail Plummer herself, along with individuals who have lived-experience.

After an amazingly successful Mental Health fair back in April at the Auto Shop at Union Market, we continued the momentum with our next Onyx @ The Eaton, which was held at the Eaton Hotel in Downtown, DC. Onyx’s leading lady, Dr. LaNail R. Plummer moderated the panel conversation titled, “Black Families and the Implications on Black Intimate Relationships.” Panelists Dr. Racine Henry (April 2022 Mental Health Fair panelist), Dr. Marcus Mason (November 2022 Eaton panelist) and his colleague Dr. Charles Robinson-Snead, broke down the mental health issues surrounding our Black families and how we can look to move past our familiar and racial traumas.
