  • Easter Series Ep.1|Who Is Jesus? | Cantonese & English
    Apr 2 2026

    Who is Jesus?

Some say He is a good teacher.

Some say He is a prophet.

Some say He is just a historical figure.

But today… I want to ask a deeper question.

Who did Jesus say He is?

Jesus didn’t just teach about truth.

He claimed to BE the truth.

He said, “I am the bread of life.”

“I am the light of the world.”

“I am the way, the truth, and the life.”

    But He didn’t stop there.

He also said, “Before Abraham was, I AM.”

“I and the Father are one.”

    These are not small statements.

If someone today said these things…

would we just call them a good teacher?

Jesus did not leave us that option.

If what He said is true…

    then Jesus is God.

    If it’s not true…

    then He is lying.

    But look at His life.

He taught love, forgiveness, and truth.

He even died for what He said.

Does that look like a liar?

    Or… was He mistaken?

Did He think He was God?

But does Jesus sound like someone unstable…

or someone full of wisdom, peace, and authority?

If He is not a liar…

and He is not out of His mind…

then there is only one conclusion.

    Jesus is God.

    So today…

who do YOU say Jesus is?

    Let’s think about it… together.

Next episode, we’ll look at how the people around Jesus saw Him—

His disciples, the crowds, and even His enemies.

    Mar 12 2026

    Key Sentences in this episode:

    ---

Hello everyone, welcome back to my small talk.

Today I want to talk about something many people experience these days — appearance anxiety.

A lot of this anxiety actually comes from social media.

On social media, people often compare photos from twenty or even thirty years ago with photos today.

Then they say things like, “Oh, she has aged,” or “She doesn’t look the same anymore.”

But honestly, this comparison is not fair at all.

No one looks the same at fifty as they did at twenty.

Time passes, and people naturally change.

Another thing we see more and more today is plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures.

Many people talk openly about Botox, fillers, and different beauty treatments.

Little by little, this creates a feeling that maybe we also need these things.

It can make us feel that we need to “fix” our faces.

Sometimes we even begin to think that our natural face is not good enough.

Personally, I also enjoy trying different skincare products.

For me, it is a kind of self-care.

Taking care of my skin helps me relax and feel happy.

But I also remind myself of something important.

I am already fifty years old.

It is good to take care of my skin.

But I should not go to extremes.

Every age has its own beauty.

    Twenty has youth.

    Forty has confidence.

And fifty has wisdom and life experience.

Learning to accept ourselves is very important.

Confidence is more beautiful than perfection.

So instead of worrying too much about our appearance,

maybe we can learn to appreciate ourselves a little more.

Taking care of ourselves is good.

But accepting ourselves with confidence is even more beautiful.

Thank you for listening to today’s small talk.
