Life won’t wait - we get one shot - and you are in the driver's seat. You can Do Hard Things. I’m Danni Duncan…featured fitness and nutrition coach, author, speaker and mum of 4 amazing kiddies (including twins). Online I’ve shared it all, my pregnancy journeys, miscarriages, why you SHOULDN’T be eating cereal for breakfast, how to make the perfect sourdough and helping you to see that YOU can do hard things. The things I’ve said online have often got me into a bit of trouble, and its because I’m not afraid to call people out on their shit … I’m not afraid to discuss taboo topics and I don’t believe that any of us need to live an average life where we do what society is telling us is ‘normal’ … instead its our job to question “Why is that normal?” And is that what we want for our own life? This podcast is going to be a space where I chat to experts (and share my own thoughts) on WHY we aren’t living our full potential. Where you can get the facts that will help you to get your happiness, motivation and confidence back. Taking the first steps can be hard, but I’m here to help you make it a little easier to face your fears and live your best life - every, single, day. I will make you feel uncomfortable, I will make you think differently but you may just wanna hear it. If you want to make this year the year that you do something for yourself, you’re in the right space. • 28% Lower Recurrence: What Every Bowel Cancer Patient Should Know ft Molly from Strength Squad
    Mar 4 2026
You can prevent 15 - 20% of bowel cancers through exercise. Even just walking works to reduce that risk. But not only that - chemo and cancer related fatigue can be alleviated through exercise too. I felt all of these benefits when I was going through chemotherapy for Stage 2 Bowel Cancer last year. Yes, some days it was hard - I won’t deny it. I remember doing a few body squats and needing to rest for a couple minutes each time but you know what? Moving my body in any capacity helped. So today I wanted to talk to the incredible Molly from Strength Squad - which is dedicated to helping people who have been diagnosed with bowel cancers (from diagnosis to post chemo) start moving their bodies and fight the cancer. Not only is Molly trained in providing oncology support for cancer patients but you’ll be moving alongside a group of people going through the exact same situation as you. The in person sessions are in South Yarra but Molly is opening up online groups mid March. You can check it out here. Stick around to find out: The landmark study that showed a 28% reduction in recurrence and a 37% reduction in risk of death How up to 20% of bowel cancers could be prevented through movement How exercise activates cancer-fighting cells and supports chemotherapy What’s really happening inside your body when you strength train during treatment Why losing muscle during chemo can quietly make everyday life harder Why “just rest” isn’t always the answer to chemo fatigue How to move your body when you’re nauseated, exhausted and scared The exact amount of exercise that actually changes outcomes (it’s less than you think) … and SO much more Want more of Molly and Strength Squad? • Running Coach: How to Start Running, Get Better and Actually Enjoy It with Tim Bliss
    Feb 25 2026
So many people tell me they want to start running. And then a few weeks later they’re injured, exhausted, or convinced they’re “just not a runner.” I’ve been there. I still remember heading out for my first 5K thinking I was going to absolutely nail it… and barely making it a few hundred metres before questioning all of my life choices. Running can feel amazing. It’s been one of the best things I’ve ever done for my mental health. But it can also feel hard, frustrating, and confusing… especially when the internet makes it look effortless. So today I’ve brought on someone who actually knows what he’s talking about. I’m chatting with Tim Bliss, a running coach, triathlete, and the mind behind my 16 week marathon plan. We’re chatting about everything from progress, recovery and what to prioritise when you have limited time. Key moments: 1:26 -   The smartest way to start running (and why most people make it harder than it needs to be) 3:134 - The biggest mistakes in the first 4–6 weeks that lead to burnout or injury 8:16 - Why runners plateau even when they’re “training hard” plus a simple test to know if you’re actually improving 10:15 - The first thing to adjust if you want to get faster (without just running more) 13:10 -  What separates runners who improve year after year from those who stay stuck 14:27 - Is running twice a week enough to see progress? Here’s how to structure it properly 16:23 - What recovery actually looks like when you have a full-time job (and limited time) 17:18 - The most common running injuries and how strength training can help prevent them 18:46 - Is soreness a good sign… or a red flag? 21:42 - Inside my 16-week marathon plan: what Tim prioritised first 23:20 - Can someone go from beginner to marathon in 16 weeks? 24:03 - How to approach back-to-back marathons without wrecking your body 26:17 - The simplest way to set your next running goal so it feels achievable If you loved this episode and you want more guidance with your own running, you can find Tim over on Instagram at @performancebliss1 If you need a push to take control of your health - download my app FIT by Danni Duncan or sign up for coaching.
