Friendships teaches everything we need to know in the world. As babies it teaches us that there are other people in this world besides mom and dad. It teaches us boundaries and how to share. When we grow older friendships make us realize there are others out there with similar commonalities. As teens friendships are were we stop seeking validation from home and find it in others. As young adults it teaches us who we need in our lives and who we may need to leave in the past and as an older adult it makes us realize how we get to be picky who we call friends.

Life has given me many different friendships and I share what I learned, gained and left behind in each one of those pivotal friendships.

Contentment is such a strange feeling especially if you have never truly felt it before. In contentment you start questioning yourself, second guessing, and even at times allowing your shadows over and have you fall victim to self-sabotage.

I explain how I got here, what contentment feelings like, and what I believe is the next step going forward vs self-sabotaging.

My Special Guest my husband Toby is finally ready to share his story of sobriety. He talks about the dark moments that lead him further down into the dark night of the soul where only him and him himself could save him.

He gets into detail about his relationship with alcohol how it made him feel along with how soberity has made him feel especially as he watched his life change drastically once he made the choice to finally choose himself over the spirit of alcohol.

After I close out before the ending credit, I have a little blooper reel to light such a heavy episode.

Bedroom vs Living Room kids. Kids were to be seen not heard but did that mean you were in your room playing, sent outside or were you allowed to be a kid in the main common spaces like the living room?

My grandma has been staying with us for a while and I have come to understand her more as we talk about life choices and the things she has gone through. It's made me look at her in a different way. It's explained why she has made choices in her life that have put her in the position she is in now. Sometimes I wonder about my choices and where I will be as a result of them while I watch her make memories with my children. I'm grateful for these moments because it gives a layer of perspective I didn't have before.

When the universe/god wants you to move and you aren't listening to him or any of the signs... Life will move you unexpectedly. I've been quiet on this podcast and thats because we have been in this mist of upheaval and not knowly where we will go and where will we live. Instead of resisting and settling in the lack we took our time let life flow to us and found peace during an emotional 6–8-month period in our lives.

This year of the snake I have been shedding, and this podcast has been taking the hit. I hate that life has been so up and down to the point this podcast has had to be on the back burner a bit in order for life to get back on track.

This year we has summer in the south, then moved down here, found an amazing team of CF doctors, spent almost 8 months apart from my husband, transitioned and on top of it all my husband has been going through his own shadows all while building his business from the ground up again.

To say it's been a lot is an understatement, and I hate to disappoint so many people who listen in. I feel I am doing a disservice to this podcast and to you all when I can't be consistent or professional with getting episodes out, but I have to honor my emotional wave and where I am at in life and this is all part of showing it all the good bad and the chaos.
