    Dr. Lahoti is Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Ohio State University and Program Director of the Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. He trained in India, completed his pediatric residency in Detroit, and endocrinology fellowship in New York. His clinical interests include diabetes, adrenal disorders, and high-value care that advances health equity. A dedicated educator, Dr. Lahoti has published widely and lectured at national and international conferences.     About Charlene M. Dewey, MD:

    Dr. Dewey is a Professor at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where she holds appointments in Medical Education, Medicine, and Public Health. She serves as Assistant Dean for Educator Development, Director of the Center for Professional Health, and Chair of the Faculty Wellness Committee. A graduate of Morehouse School of Medicine and trained at Montefiore Medical Center, she is a board-certified internist with a Master’s in Curriculum Design and coach training from Impact Coaching Solutions.

    Dr. Dewey has served on national committees focused on physician well-being and opioid education, including the National Academy of Medicine and the American College of Physicians, where she now sits on the Board of Regents. She was also the first African American to chair the Faculty Senate at Vanderbilt. Dr. Dewey is widely recognized for her leadership in education, wellness, and community service. She lives in New York with her husband, Dr. Wayne Riley, and their two daughters.
