  • Living Fearlessly in Service -Serving Fearlessly in Love (Acts 9:17)
    May 3 2025

This week we've studied Living Fearlessly in Service from Acts 9.

Throughout this series, we have walked alongside Ananias in his journey of fearless service. We have seen how fearless living is not reserved for the extraordinary, but is birthed in the ordinary faithfulness of those who listen, trust, obey, and love. True fearlessness is not the absence of trembling; it is the presence of faith that moves forward anyway. As we conclude this week of reflection, we are reminded that fearless service is ultimately an expression of fearless love — love for God, and love for those He calls us to serve.

    Scripture Reading:

"And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost." (Acts 9:17, KJV)

  • Living Fearlessly in Service - Serving with Humility and Love (Acts 9:17-18)
    May 2 2025

This week we're studying Living Fearlessly in Service and considering the example of Ananias from Acts 9.

Fear seeks to paralyze, divide, and isolate us. But God calls us to live and serve differently — with power, love, and a sound mind. Fearless service is not brash or self-serving; it is marked by humility and love. Ananias displayed these qualities when he approached Saul, not with condemnation or suspicion, but with tender acceptance and obedience. In a moment that could have been dominated by fear, Ananias chose the higher way of humble love, showing us the true posture of fearless servants.

    Scripture Reading: "

And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized." (Acts 9:17–18, KJV)

  • Living Fearlessly in Service - The Impact of Our Obedience (Acts 9 17-18)
    May 1 2025

This week we're studying Living Fearlessly in Service and looking at the life of Ananias from Acts 9.

Often when we think of great impacts for God's kingdom, we imagine grand acts performed by well-known figures. Yet Scripture reveals that many extraordinary moves of God began with the quiet, unseen obedience of faithful individuals. Ananias is one of these individuals. His willingness to listen, trust, and act became part of a chain reaction that transformed the world through Saul, later known as Paul. Living fearlessly means recognizing that our simple obedience — even when it seems small — has the potential to impact lives far beyond what we can imagine.
