  • This week we're studying Living Fearlessly in Service and looking at the life of Ananias from Acts 9.

    Often when we think of great impacts for God's kingdom, we imagine grand acts performed by well-known figures. Yet Scripture reveals that many extraordinary moves of God began with the quiet, unseen obedience of faithful individuals. Ananias is one of these individuals. His willingness to listen, trust, and act became part of a chain reaction that transformed the world through Saul, later known as Paul. Living fearlessly means recognizing that our simple obedience — even when it seems small — has the potential to impact lives far beyond what we can imagine.

    And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized." (Acts 9:17–18, KJV)
