  • Ep. 37- How to Model Peace and Courage for Your Daughter When the World Feels Heavy
    Oct 6 2025

The world feels incredibly heavy right now. And as moms, it's tough enough to even keep it all together, let alone figure out how we model for our daughters how NOT to live in fear.

I'll be honest- I’ve legitimately considered pulling my girls from school, buying a piece of land in the middle of nowhere, and building a bunker to hide from the rest of society. 🙋‍♀️ Can you relate?I resisted recording this episode. I didn’t want to use Charlie Kirk’s name for clickbait or contribute even one iota to the noise that's already out there. It's causing division, heaviness, and hate and I want absolutely no part of that.

But God kept reminding me (over and over again) of the truth in John 1:5: “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”If you’re a mom craving true peace, encouragement, and perspective in these hard times, this episode will meet you right where you are. Together we’ll unpack REAL truth and practical reminders that help us anchor our hearts in God’s promises and model strength and peace for our girls.

The weight of the world is real, but so is God’s presence—and He’s given us everything we need to walk in peace, courage, and hope.

    ✨ Here’s the power in today’s episode:

    • Honest encouragement for when the world feels overwhelming
    • Biblical truth that anchors you (and your daughter) in peace
    • Perspective to help you parent with strength instead of fear
    • A reminder that you’re not alone in what you’re feeling
    • Practical steps to keep pointing your home back to God’s promises

📖 Scriptures referenced in this episode:

    • Galatians 2:20
    • 1 John 3:1
    • Romans 12:6–8
    • 1 Corinthians 12:4–6
    • John 16:33
    • Joshua 1:9
    • 1 John 3:8
    • 1 Corinthians 15:55–57
    • John 14:2–3
    • Philippians 3:20
    • 2 Corinthians 5:1
    • Isaiah 41:10
    • Psalm 23:4

👉 Your Next Best Step: After you listen, take a few quiet minutes with God. Ask Him which reminder your heart needs most right now—and how you can reflect peace and courage to your daughter. Then come share it with me! I’ll share mine too so we can encourage each other.

✨ Remember, mama: You ARE an empowered mom raising an empowered girl—even when the world feels heavy.

  • Ep. 35- Why Your Tween is Always Tired (and 5 Ways to Help Her Sleep Better)
    Sep 22 2025

Sleep struggles are REAL during puberty. If your tween or teen daughter is suddenly staying up late and dragging through the day, these 5 proven strategies will help her (and you!) get better rest—without melatonin.

Remember when you could sleep until noon as a teenager? 😴 Now your tween is starting to do the same, and you’re left wondering: Is this normal, or should I step in?

The truth is, puberty throws a girl’s sleep schedule completely off track. Hormonal changes delay her natural sleep cycle, screens and school schedules work against her, and before you know it—she’s exhausted, moody, and struggling to focus.

In this episode, I’m sharing why sleep gets so tricky during puberty, plus 5 practical strategies you can start using right away to help your daughter get the deep, restful sleep her body actually needs.

Here's the power in today's episode:

    • The real reason her circadian rhythm is shifting later (and why she’s not just being “lazy”).
    • How screens, snacks, and sports are silently sabotaging her sleep.
    • 5 proven ways to support better rest—from nutrition and sunlight exposure to creating a consistent rhythm at home.
    • Why melatonin isn’t always the best first choice (and safer alternatives to consider)

You’ll leave this episode feeling equipped with simple, doable steps that fit into everyday mom life—and give your daughter the gift of better sleep during this big season of growth.

👉 Your next best step: Pick just ONE strategy from this episode and start tonight. Small shifts lead to big changes!

  • Ep. 34- Tween Body Hair: When to Talk, What to Say, and How to Support Her
    Sep 15 2025

Is your tween starting to notice body hair — or asking when she can shave? In this episode, I share how to talk about body hair with confidence, what’s normal in puberty, and how to guide her choices without the awkwardness.

Body hair is one of those puberty topics that sneaks up on us as moms. One day our girls are carefree, and the next… they’re noticing underarm fuzz, leg stubble, or even upper lip hair — and wondering what to do about it.

If you’ve ever caught yourself asking things like:

➡️ When should I bring this up?

➡️ How do I explain why some women shave and others don’t?

➡️ What if she wants to start now — what do I even show her?

➡️ Is her hair growth normal for her age?

…then this episode was made for you.

Here’s the power in today’s episode:

You’ll walk away with confidence to normalize body hair for your tween, answer her (sometimes awkward!) questions with ease, and guide her choices in a way that builds self-confidence instead of self-consciousness.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about body hair — it’s about how our girls see their bodies, and how our response as moms sets the tone for years to come.

So grab your coffee, take a deep breath, and let’s dive into a conversation that will leave you feeling empowered and ready for this next stage of her growing-up journey.
