  • Twin Peaks, Generational Trauma, and Abuse
    May 26 2023
"This is about a kid, who was abused her whole life, deciding that she’s going to be the one to end it." Sancheck and Lee Dandy enlighten me on their interpretation of Twin Peaks, and it is a good one. Both have been on the show before. Lee is a queer tattoo artist at Electric Panther in Cabot, Arkansas. Sancheck is a dissociative identity system. This is really Sancheck's episode. Take a listen to their fascinating take on the show, generational trauma, and abuse.

  • LARP (part 2)
    Jan 30 2023
Get your costumes ready, we're talking LARP (Live Action Role Playing)...again! My guests are tattoo artist Lee Dandy. Check them out at Electric Panther in Cabot, AR. And Tabby McGuire, a member of the Sancheck system, the Dissociative Identity Disorder system you’ve heard in so many episodes. Lee and Sancheck run a lot of LARPs with their group The Gentleman’s Hammer, and I’m thrilled they’re willing to give some of their expertise here. This episode is a continuation of the conversation we had in an episode several months back. That’s why this is part 2. I’ve split this episode into two segments to make it a little more bite-size, so be sure to check out part 3 as well.
