  • YOU COULDN’T PAY ME TO MOVE BACK HOME 🖐️
    Jul 14 2025

Been home with my parents for the last 2 weeks since my wisdom teeth removal and wow, it’s been a journey. After nearly 7 years of living solo, I’m so used to my independence and my space. Living in a family home? Not quite my vibe x 🙂

Navigating the energy of a broken home, boundary setting, and changing relationships with my parents has been real. It’s complicated, but also a reminder that your space and peace matter. You don’t owe anyone guilt for prioritising your mental health and boundaries. 🫶🏼

    Tune in and enjoy!!! 🩷

  • QUEER COMMUNITY, WHERE YOU AT? 👋🏽🏳️‍🌈
    Jun 30 2025

    Happy pride month peeps!

On this week’s episode I talk about the queer community; how I could really do with more queer friends, the Indian culture recognising third genders through history, how we still have a long way to go, and even a little about how I’m doing as a queer desi girly after coming out.

I hope you enjoy today’s episode as much as I enjoyed creating it, stick it on in the background, and let me know what you think!

Sending all my queer peeps love and extra kisses for my trans queens!

  • LAVENDER MARIAGE🙆‍♂️💍🙆‍♀️
    Jun 16 2025

Lavender marriage this lavender marriage that, I’ve lost count of how many times I said lavender marriage, but I can sure tell you this style of marriage is back.

To the girlies showing off their cute hot gay husbands, to Hollywood stars concealing their sexuality to avoid scandal, this form of marriage has caused a stir.

On today’s episode I talk about the future of lavender marriages, whether if my aunties would take it up as an option to get rid of their husbands who clearly hate them (closeted), if I would consider marrying a gay man for acceptance, and how lavender marriages could be the future.

Hopefully you don’t get sick of me saying the term lavender marriage on today’s episode, but I promise you it short and snappy, thought provoking and might make you question your uncle’s sexuality.

    Let me know hahaha x

On today’s episode I talk about jealousy, what it means to feel jealous, why we feel jealous, how we can work through it and how jealousy can look through a brown lens.

Have you considered jealousy to be an invitation to look inwards, is it as bad as it sounds? 🤔

You tell me, I hope todays episode challenges you to question yourself, perhaps you can relate, feel free to share your story.

  • IDENTITY AND BELONGING AS A BROWN QUEER GIRL
    May 19 2025

I’m glad I set the record straight with my parents early on and let them crash out sooner than later because I don’t have the capacity to be dealing with their crash out in my 30’s.

Anyways, today it a chill one, yappa yappa yappa. identity is a weird, one minute I’m pretending to be the perfect Indian housewife in front of my relatives the other I’m shaking ass with my home girls and crushing on that fine girl with short hair.

If you need something in the background and can relate with today’s title, I’m sure this, will be ya cup of chaa.

    Hope you enjoy!

  • DESI’S ON THE ✨SPECTRUM✨
    May 5 2025

    EPISODE 14: DESI’S ON THE ✨SPECTRUM✨

On today’s episode I attempt to self-diagnose myself, talk about the importance of acknowledging neurodiversity, invalidate my brain ANDD try to figure out if I’m on the spectrum. 🙃

Imagine if our desi parents had access to the knowledge and education we have now, I wonder if they would’ve had an easier time understanding their brains. Being more aware of my parent’s mental health has helped give them more grace and allow for forgiveness. It only took 25 years :) 😗

I’m not a doctor, but I hope this episode inspires you to speak to your friends and family about mental health/ neurodiversity which hopefully results in you understanding each other better, and maybe you’ll figure if you’re on the ✨spectrum???✨

  • MY PARENTS ARE GETTING OLDER
    Apr 22 2025

Sat Sri Akal! On today’s episode I’ll be talking about the expectations of taking care of the elder generation and parents in the south Asian community.

Firstly, has anyone realised I’ve uploaded a day later? No this wasn’t intentional and very unlike me, blame my WIFI :( To be honest it’s a happy accident to see what works better in terms of upload days.

Being 25 has made me really appreciate the time I have with family and relatives because suddenly everyone is dying their grey hairs and adamant I need to start taking an arranged marriage seriously. Luckily for my parents they are less cunty and won their retirement ticket to being taken care of just in time. (Joke, I would have till taken care of them if they were cunty)

As a desi woman, care giving has been deeply rooted in me so that’s what I talk about, do you feel the same, what do expectations look like for you when it comes to care giving and has your culture, relationship or faith played a role?

    Hope you enjoy!
