THANK you Destiny's Child for this battle cry hymn against the enemy! I didn’t wake up one day healed. This episode shares my real-life journey through addiction recovery, trauma healing, and personal transformation after surviving domestic violence, overcoming a 30-year cigarette addiction, and breaking free from emotional eating and food addiction at nearly 400 pounds.

In this raw 3-part series about healing, recovery, and self-worth, I open up about what it really takes to change—family support, deep inner work, and honest conversations with God. I talk about sleepless nights, nicotine withdrawals, emotional eating, shame, and the exhausting cycle of trying to fix yourself alone.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about progress, healing after trauma, rebuilding your relationship with your body, and reclaiming your voice. It’s about refusing to stay stuck in patterns you’ve already survived.

If you’ve ever felt trapped, ashamed, or tired of fighting the same battles—addiction, weight struggles, toxic relationships, or emotional burnout—this podcast is for you. Healing is possible. Freedom is real. I’m living proof.

Hit play. Then share it with someone who needs hope, honesty, humor, and real talk.

    • The laugh-so-you-don’t-cry moments
    • Practical strategies to survive and thrive
    • Why asking for help isn’t weakness—it’s wisdom
    • And how to still carve out joy, self-care, and yes, wine time

This one’s for everyone who’s ever packed a lunch, prepped a pillbox, and powered through. You are not alone—and let me tell you, you’re doing the damn thing.

👂🏾 Listen now. Share it with your sister circle. And remember: even the strongest need someone to lean on.

They’ve got phones in their hands 24/7 — but won’t pick up when we call. In this episode of 50ish & Fab: The Hot Flash Report, we’re diving into the great generational disconnect with Gen Z and Gen Alpha. Why won’t they unplug? Why do they prefer texts, snaps, and cryptic emojis over an actual conversation? And most importantly — how do we really connect with our kids and grandkids in a digital-first world?

Join me as we laugh through the frustration, reflect on our own parenting (and grandparenting) styles, and explore tips to build stronger bridges across the tech divide. Whether you’re ready to chuck your phone or finally learn what “rizz” means, this episode is for you.
