My first audible listen!! I loved it.

I have to say, I am not a person that usually sits down to listen to a book. It is difficult for me to focus in that way. But this one, oh my was it lovely! Jessie reads it beautifully, she has a soothing voice. She pairs excellently with this story and. plays the parts wonderfully. This is very Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. But with a sapphic romance during the wonderful time of Yule. It is funny, clever, and charming. It is a story that has family of all kinds helping each other along the way to get a yule log safe and sound for the celebration. This is a lovely listen, I would listen again.

What a hectic, fun and fabulous journey. Like most cross country trips for family events, the MC certainly have a few “moments” but the love and humor between them helps them get through the chaos of a crazy trip. I’m so happy to have this second book about Violet & Alice - their life journey is amazing. Hope to visit them in future books as well
