This book was everything

This book was truly everything and because of the greatness of this book and the narrators by exercise spiked during the days I was listening to this book. I loved how quirky and broken the two characters were and how they came together was a magical ride. Finn and Halston were able to take their masks off for each other and truly be themselves and somehow it all worked and they became stronger together. I was emotionally invested during this entire read and only wish I could re-listen to it again for the first time.

Gah!! I absolutely loved slip of the tongue and Yours to Bare was even better.

No so much.... disappointed with the story. ma

Another great book by Jessica Hawkins!

I loved the continuation of Finns story and how he eventually finds love. This one is hot with a plot and all the feels. She writes epic love stories. Fantastic narration as ever.

Finn has chosen to leave his unhappy existence. He is living with the mother of his child, a wealthy woman to whom everything is measured by material things. He doesn't love her nor the secure, high paying career. Instead he is trying to make it on his own as a photographer. This is a ruthless, challenging career. But it makes him happy… However, he is waiting for his career to take off.

Halston has had a rough time of it. Her very rich family fell apart when her mom died in a car accident. She was inconsolable so her dad sends her to an institution and she is on antidepressants from age 15. Now she works at her dad's bank, lives with a man who her father chose for her and is existing, not living. Her only outlet is journaling. This is where she writes her fantasies along with her daily activities.

One day Finn discovers a journal at the coffee shop he frequents. He knows he should turn it in, but is attached to it before he can do so. He takes it home and begins to read the very intimate thoughts that a stranger has written. He is inspired and set on finding the author… to return it or more?

I don't know why so many of the reviewers dislike Finn. He is a very patient guy, especially as Halston starts to unwind.

Andi Arndt and Sebastian York are so talented. Sebastian York has a deep sexy voice, perfect for Finn. Andi Arndt performs Halston without flaw. I especially enjoy her narration of male characters – soft and husky.

Be aware that this book contains strong language and mature themes/situations

Don't quote me on this, but I believe there are three standalone books. Each of the books focus on one [different] couple and mentions the other characters in a peripheral manner. When I listened again I will listen to the three back-to-back to enjoy the full richness of the friendships, as well as the main focus of each [standalone book] couple and their relationship.

What I loved about this book is that its the second audio in a very short time from Jessica...I love her books.

These two always deliver great narration...they really help bring the book to life for me..

I struggled with this book

Halston was being such a baby.... I care about the followers!! OMG such a millennial!! She didn’t even take the time to consider Finn’s reasoning behind her revealing herself. That is a huge step like he said. So much negativity will come with it and she was being such a brat not to see that.

Halston is unbearable,.... but the spice is 10/10!

This book gave ALL the feels!!! fantastic spice and plot, but maaaaaaaaaaaaan, the female MC was the.worst. Overall another great book by Jessica Hawkins!!!

Good but didn't like Finn

If Finn was suppose to be the hero, why did he act just like the boyfriend and her dad. He was just as controlling as they were and he never did own up to it that would have made this story better.

Oh my goodness, this book was phenomenal.I freaking loved it,it was sensual,erotic,passionate and super hot!Finn and Halston's story is full of passion,inspiration and love.Their love is addictive and so strong, even though they have to deal with many things.

Both they have to deal with the demons of their past that still haunt them.However, the demons there are things that drawn them back together.I fell in love with both characters, I could feel everything that they going through and everything felt realistic.I ached for them and I wanted to see them happy!

The audio version was just perfect,I love the voices and both narrators make it more intimidate.I already bought another book of Jessica's in audio and I can't wait to start.Yours to bare is an incredible mix of passion and love.
