Great marriage tool

I think this book is a great tool to strengthen a marriage & work on some issues married couples might face. For me it was submitting issues. We submit to our husband as an act of obedience to Christ, act of love & respect. Being a homeschool mom it is hard to put my husband’s needs above my kids. He gave very good tips to be the helper that my husband needs.

Such an excellent biblical marriage book

I love this workbook! Are you looking for something listen to on your next car ride with your spouse or family? This will create wonderful discussion from the beginning of your drive to the end. You can play it and push pause and discuss the different questions and answer them as a family or as a married couple. If you are looking for a biblical book on finances this is the one for you!

Biblical application on marriage was great.

I loved it was about Jesus and that I understood more about what a marriage should look like.

Biblical and Practical Wisdom for Marriage

Excellent teaching to both wives and husbands on how to apply Biblical truths to improve their marriage. The author dealt with the hot topic of "submission" in the best, most balanced, and helpful way I've ever seen. The book addressed the core issues that can plague marriages, and also the specific issues that can arise in Christian marriages. It dealt with difficult subjects with tact and grace, while not watering down the direct Biblical admonishes for husbands and wives. The message was challenging and encouraging in the best way possible. Highly recommended to married people of all ages & durations!

Excellent, Biblically Based Book on Marriage

In "Your Marriage God's Way," Scott lays out the biblical principles for marriage as is found in the Word of God. He gives scriptural support for the roles within marriage, relating these roles back to the scriptural pattern for marriage described as a "mystery" by the Apostle Paul; Marriage is a picture of Christ and His Church as described in Ephesians 5:32. I found the book convicting in many places, realizing that loving my wife as Christ loves the Church is an impossibly high standard whereby I will never reach it. And yet, through God's help, I can work toward that end. His instructions to wives were also very good, and I found myself nodding in agreement as he seemed to describe many of the things we have encountered in our marriage. I am planning to listen to this book again with my wife so that we can discuss it as we go along. I appreciate the absence of pop psychology that seems to plague many modern marriage books. I believe that this book would be great for any couple regardless of which stage of marriage they are in. I would imagine that if the book had been available at the beginning of our marriage it would have even been more helpful then. This year my wife and I celebrate 32 years of marriage. And even so, I found many nuggets of truth as I listened to the audio book. Thank you Pastor Scott for your helpful resource.
