Just amazing!!!

It’s about time I read a story that is pure love and calming to my soul. First book by the author. Will be looking at her other books. Please check her out!!

Great story and wonderful start to the series

Yes, because I like the story and the narration got better as the story progressed.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Sebastian. I love the way he acts, is portrayed, and his description. He is the dream book boyfriend.

Have you listened to any of Kasha Kensington and Aiden Snow ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, I haven't.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed. i think the emotional element was there and at times it was a fun read, but there was also drama and romance.

As with all of my audio book reviews, this will be split into two parts. The story and the narration. Irresistible Love by Layla Hagen is the first book in the Bennett Family Series. Sebastian is under pressure to find someone and get married. It's sort of a family joke, but at the same time, his parents would love to see him settle down...as they would all of his siblings. But he hasn't found anyone and doesn't know if he actually believes in love. Sure his parents found it, but he hasn't. Besides, he's too busy trying to run his business empire. Ava is going to help him make his next launch even bigger, now if she would only stop wanting him. Will they be able to stay away from each other, or will they both learn what it means to love?

Story: 4.5 stars
I liked the characters and the story progression, and I can't wait to read the other books in the series. It has a little bit of everything: romance, humor, emotion, etc. And you will love Sebastian. I kind of want him for myself. Good plot, well written, and enjoyable. 

Narration: 4 stars (overall)
This book had two different narrators. I'll start with Aiden Snow. The narrator seemed to embrace the character and made Sebastian come to life. His intonation was great and while there were a couple of spots he seemed flat, overall, he was great. I could definitely listen to his voice over and over again. The next narration was done by Kasha Kensington. As the story moved on, her narration got better, however, in the beginning I wasn't drawn in. She didn't bring Ava to life for me until several chapters in. Statements sounded like questions and some lines seemed more monotone. However, when she got more into the story, things began to change and improve. 

Overall rating: 4 stars
While I liked the story, I think there were parts of the narration that interrupted the pleasure of listening to this book. That's not to say it wasn't good, overall, it was. I highly recommend this book and the audio book. 4 stars. 

So happy for a new series

This was a really good book. I loved both characters and the development of the side characters that made me want more from the series. I'm always happily surprised when a book with hot bedroom scenes also comes sans drama. It's refreshing.
Definitely recommend this book.

I LOVE this book I love that the millionaire playboy in the book it's a playboy at all is an amazing love sweet and caring man with a great family I like that they gave it a try no real back and forth about being together

Your Irresistible Love

i thoroughly enjoyed this book. it was light and fun. A family everyone wants but not many get. the interaction between all the family members shows so much love and respect. most books I read there are crappy parents galore. This was quite refreshing. there was some drama but not too much.

Narrated by my favorite narrator Aiden Snow who was awesome as always. I did enjoy the female narrator as well. i would have liked a bit more of the book to be from Sebastian's POV. But still extremely enjoyable!!!

Slow moving and predictable but the character have potential

The first in a series about a very large family in San Francisco that run a jewelry business. Artist and business men but doesn’t appear that any are gemologists. Also a nice tale of coming from a poor background and the parents gambling on the success of the son but and his opportunity to move ahead through jewelry business but fuller explanation would be nice. Lots of opportunities to further develop the business setting but maybe in future books. Ava is very cliched with little to make her interesting. The love story is sweet but entirely predictable with the usual miscommunication that brings drama and then a rushed HEA. The female narrator was monotone in her male voice and unfortunately did the bulk of the reading. The male the male narrator was better. The 2 main characters took a while to become sexually involved and then it was paced and the scenes were hot but not overly graphic. The other characters are mostly family and have potential to have interesting stories- hopefully with less repetitive dialog and more action. All and all an ok choice for the Romance Package or as a sale choice.

this very cute very small dream. so if you are looking for a book that makes you smile then this is the book for you. the only negative part was there a few parts were dragged a little. Over is was nice and I will listen to the next book.

Love and Eh

I love the voices of the narrators, they were fun and Aiden's voice was deep and sexy! The story was fun, but I will say that it fell a little flat. The characters seemed too perfect, I loved Sebastian, but there were a lot of times where I just cringed and thought dead lord if some guy told me that I would not believe it... It was just a bit difficult to get behind in some cases.

However! I often found the story fun and couldn't stop listening. I really enjoyed the story overall even though there were times I couldn't believe the characters. The story was overall fun and I cannot wait to listen to the next one in the series!

Very sweet

I don’t typically write reviews but this was such a sweet story I had to write one. I loved the interaction between Ava and Sebastian. They had a true connection from the start that drew the reader (me) in and I couldn’t pull away from the book until I finished it. I would recommend this to anyone with a sweet tooth for love stories focused on love and affection for the other person with a large loving family as an added plus. Can’t wait to see what happens with Logan in the next book.

Very enjoyable

I really like it when they have a male and a female doing the parts. When strife occurs in the story, it is resolved quickly. I dislike reading through three chapters or more of self doubt and internal conversation, when all it would take is to pick up a phone or send an email or text to resolve the misunderstanding.
This was a very enjoyable read.
