A reimagining of the Titanic disaster set in the far future among the stars....
Traveling unexpectedly aboard the luxury liner Nebula Dream on its maiden voyage across the galaxy, Sectors Special Forces Captain Nick Jameson is ready for ten relaxing days, and hoping to forget his last disastrous mission behind enemy lines. He figures he'll gamble at the casino, take in the shows, maybe even have a shipboard fling with Mara Lyrae, the beautiful but reserved businesswoman he meets.
All his plans vaporize when the ship suffers a wreck of Titanic proportions. Captain and crew abandon ship, leaving the 8000 passengers stranded without enough lifeboats and drifting unarmed in enemy territory. Aided by Mara, Nick must find a way off the doomed ship for himself and several other innocent people before deadly enemy forces reach them or the ship's malfunctioning engines finish ticking down to self destruction.
But can Nick conquer the demons from his past that tell him he'll fail these innocent people just as he failed to save his Special Forces team? Will he outpace his own doubts to win this vital race against time?

Would you listen to Wreck of the Nebula Dream again? Why?
I listened twice. It is so great, fast paced, exciting, well formulated characters, romance adventure. Sci-fi fiction is one of the genres I am partial to.The Timpani and his allegiance to Nick's authority was very much a part of my enjoyment of the audiobook. So it is a resounding YES, I have listened again. What did you like best about this story?
The fast paced adventure reminiscent of the Titanic disaster. But set in deep space with pirates, sentients, (loved Lady Damais) wonderful characters, with a tightly woven plot and developed with attention to detail and the techie knowledge and so much more.Which character – as performed by Michael Riffle – was your favorite?
Nick was my favourite character. Mr. Take Charge himself. Alpha male character - Nick, representing compassion, down to earth, romantic but oh so empathetic to others and willing to assist, even though he was reluctant to do so. Not perfect, but who is? . Michael's rendition of Nick was near perfect. He portrayed his take charge attitude so well. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The episode in the grav lift was awesome. Nick shone and his protective attitude to the persons with him was awesome. Then following with the encounter with the Red Lady deity and the intervention of the White Lady deity.Any additional comments?
Scott sets up her story nicely, and introduces Jameson. He has a past that troubles him and is uncertain of his next step, after his messed up last mission. Scott uses her introduction of Nick to set up the fabric of her key characters and the progression of the book is predicated on her brilliant definition of their personas. They are each allowed their glorious moment in the limelight and they are allowed to shine. Romance is in the air, but gratuitous sex is fore sworn. No time to mess around. Action packed, nail biting suspense, lots of twists and narrow escapes. The women in the book were strong in spirit and character, even the batty socialite. I liked that portrayal of feminine strength.Disaster book notwithstanding, but then again that's real life where not everyone makes it to a happy ending. Great listening and read. I'm checking out your other books.Adventure in Space - Sci-fi Titanic Parallel
