An excellent view of what it must have been like to fight during the 100 years war, from the foot soldiers’ perspective. Book written by renowned historian Dan Jones!

Dark and gritty part 2

Carries on the dogs story. Looking forward to the next one to see how it’s tied together. Good book.

I loved it!

The characters are great and it's very funny. At the same time, Jones paints a gruesome picture of what siege warfare was like in the Middle Ages for both soldiers and citizens. It's a great book I give it 5 stars.

War during the medieval period

Really shows you what the common soldier went through for those in power. Historically accurate.
