Charity Fellner thought she had found the man of her dreams. After getting away from a would-be assailant her freshman year of college, she thought no one would be able to break down the mile-high walls she had built around herself.
Charity put all of her insecurities behind her and fully focused on her new life, her new husband. Without even realizing it, years flew by, and Charity had become some sort of recluse. Sure, she got out. She would visit her mother in California during the summer while Cameron worked. She hosted the occasional dinner party, but the guest were all Cameron's friends and acquaintances. She never took the time to make a life and friends of her own.

That promise Charity made to herself was shattered before it could see the light of day. Did not love the story or the narrator
Kept waiting for the twist. It was very predictable and the ending left alot to be desired. The jump between characters was confusing at times. I don't feel like there was any way to know when the shift between the character being mentioned was going to happen. The narrator made it difficult to listen to also, because her voice did not change very much when depicting different characters. Between a horrible plot and a lot of confusion trying to still get through the book despite these observations, I feel like listening to this book was a waste of my time.

This thriller kept me on the edge of my seat.
I may not get to a easy sleep anytime soon. When the bugeyman is within your walls. Takes sleeping with the enemy to new heights. Terrifying I am left craving revenge.

Excellent twist
I must say this book took a excellent twist that I didn’t expect took a little bit to get out the gate but once I did kept me on the edge of my seat, must say I really enjoyed it. Hope to find more like this. Keep them coming.

Very much left me wanting to read more!
This book was great. It got me engaged right from the start. There were several twists, some I saw coming but some I did not. I love when a book has me talking out loud to myself trying to figure things out, and saying, “no way”. LOL. And that ending...FANTASTIC and unexpected.
I cannot wait to see what book 2 has in store for me.
If you have not read this book make sure it’s on your list to read (listen to).
The narrator has a nice, calming voice, but also expression that matches the characters.
