once again amazing

thank you once again to Debra Dunbar for bringing Sam back I know I missed her so I'm sure everybody else did... you're the best!

Not over yet.

I’m glad the series didn’t end on book 10 as was the plan. Lux is such a great addition to the series; I just love him. The ring idea was fun, I would have liked there to have been more scenes with them returning other rings, but what we had was full of chaos and fun. The Imp series is an automatic download for me. I look forward to the next book Through the Mirror that is coming. Can’t wait to see what Fae disaster that is coming. There is also a spin off series, the first one is called California Demon which is in New Hel, maybe not as funny as Sam but equally as good, so if you need more from this world that’s a good place to go, although only 2 out 5 are on Audible as of right now. There are also a bunch of side stories on Kindle about all the other people in the series and them finding their own loves. I believe the beginning of that series starts right after this book. Narrator is awesome as Sam.

Happy this isn't the end

With This Ring is book 11 in the Imp series. I am so happy to say that this isn’t the end of Sam’s story. I thought this series was over with book 10 and then book 11 popped up as a surprise but I waited a while to listen to it because I am not ready for the story to be over or to say goodbye to the characters. Thankfully, the storyline in this book did not wrap up and there is more to come. The author even did a note at the end confirming there is another book coming. So now I patiently, okay slightly impatiently, wait.

I finished With This Ring a few weeks ago and didn’t get a chance to review it right away so it is no longer fresh enough in my mind to leave a detailed review. I can say that I absolutely loved this book. It is a little like returning home to a family I like whenever I read these books. There were several laugh out loud moments and lots of good action too. Lux really stirred up some trouble and it was quite a feat for Sam and Gregory to clean up the mess.

The narration was good. The narrator doesn’t have a wide range of voices but she does a good job reading the story and making it come alive despite that.

I recommend this book and this series. This is a series in which you need to start at the beginning and read each in order. I am looking forward to when I go back and start the series all over again.

No spoilers

First off I hate how Audible won't let a review be written right after a book any more. It's a pain now to leave one so I usually don't. But for some reason I really felt I wanted to for Ms Dundar and Ms Rysk. Both did a fantastic job and was so happy to see them back. With this ring keep me very much engaged suspenseful at times, very funny along with a mystery of sorts in a world with supernaturals, trying to live with humans. You could read/listen by itself but I don't recommend. Can't wait for more please hurry.

So funny

I highly recommend this whole series. I even more highly recommend listening to it on audiobook as the performance definitely adds to the books humor.

Cliffhanger!!!

I hate cliffhangers like this. Two thirds the book was about the dead angels and the spells that took powers and neither is answered. One is almost not started. This really had no cohesion because off the multiple storylines, I am disappointed as the Imp Series was one of my favorites. This even had pretty boring parts that were build is that then went no where. So another surgery jumps on the cliffhanger band wagon.
