Spot on!

I’ve listened to several Macintosh novels right in a row lately as kind of an addiction. Potentially as an escape from stressful stuff but I’m glad I did. This one struck me because I actually teared up! Not only was it particularly hilarious (wake date) but the care some of the characters had for each other was so touching. Karen Cass narration is perfection per usual.

Laugh out loud funny.

This was really quite good. I really enjoyed the characters. Their was just such a mixed bag. Parts were very sad but other parts quite funny. Karen Cass did a really great job of narrating. All around good book.

I finished it in 2 days, different from the standard, loved the plot and supporting characters

Good writing but who is love interest

2/3 into story and we still did not know who her love interest would be. I’m a fan of the author but I wish she would have love interests together for most of book ! I felt there were too many things going on .. too many ideas , story lines in book and I was just waiting for the romance part ….
