I read Will Grayson, Will Grayson for the first time about 8-ish years ago. I also listened to the audio book simultaneously. I fell in love with this book and it truly has shaped me as a person. Every year or so, I listen to it once again and it never fails to make me both cry and laugh out loud. I just rebought it because I got a new Amazon account and damn was I willing to. The performances of MacLeod Andrews and Nick Podehl never fail to make me fall in love with both Will Graysons over and over. This is a perfect example of a good audiobook. If you like stories that are filled with the truth of life, yet still somehow uplift, this is the story for you. Thank you to Will Grayson, Will Grayson for being so close.

Genuine People, Kept Me Guessing

I kept trying to pigeonhole the characters. “Ah, this person is the jerk,” or “Here’s the REAL main character!” I realized about a third of the way in that this was lazy listening on my part. This book was having none of that! The characters were so very real, very complex, no ‘good guys’ or ‘bad guys’. I loved this book.

I absolutely loved this book, and the performances were so so great! I wish I had this book when I was a teenager.

cute story

I had a hard time following the two Will Grayson's at first in the audio book but it's a good story line and good message for teens.

Unlikable, unrealistic, cliché characters.

The subject is interesting, but the whole story is unrealistic. The characters were just cookie cutter.
I'm sorry. I love John Green, but not this book.
