Great series! Loved the first two and working on the third.

I loved the first two books in this series so much I had to continue with the third. The story is great and so is the narrator. Recommend.

Refreshing

Everything about this book was like a breath of fresh air. Old school values with some steamy moments but nothing smutty. Exciting areas drawl you in. an easy listen. I liked that new characters names were often repeated so that you didn’t have to rewind to make sure of who was who.
This is the second book of this series, the first one was good, I will continue with the series.

An excellent book that is hard to stop listening.

Love the second book of this series as much as the first one. Can't wait until next month until I can get the next book.

Not as good as first book in series

Boring and Not nearly as good as first book in series. Way too many plot tangents. For a love story, there was not nearly enough interaction between the main characters. As much as the author wants us to believe that the characters are ‘strong minded’ women , they mostly seem meek, helpless and sometimes downright stupid with their judgements and decisions. Acting like they have no other choice, but in reality, one would have to be insane to make the decisions these women make. A brothel? Good grief. I want to see more spunk and tenacity. There was no defining point in this story either. Such as a dramatic rescue. Just acceptance that they loved each other and then it was over. It was a disappointment. But it was clean and that’s harder to find these days. I could let my teenage daughter listen to it.
I hope the next book in the series is better.
