amazing!!

I loved this book! even after 10 hours I want more! such wonderful useful information.

Can't Get Through It

Book seems ok but the narration is too much for me. Too much EXCITEMENT about every syllable. Think valley girl who drank too many caffeinated drinks. I can't finish it, it is literally grating on my nerves. I will purchase the printed book and try that way.

Tweaked my view of my man’s motives

I’m grateful for the reminder that my husband wants me to be happy and he does almost everything to please me. But I felt empowered to fill myself up and then let him top off my happiness. There are some great insights in this book that I haven’t found elsewhere. It is more about what is going on in your mind in regards to your marriage than it is a bunch of stuff you need to do.

Take your marriage from a good to a grand one by having your own dreams and supporting him in his. 👏

Totally great

The negative reviews almost deterred me away from this book, but I’m glad I took them with a grain of salt. I already have Ramona’s hardcopy but I wanted an audio version to help me be more diligent in a thorough study of her advice. She says in the book not to skip ahead looking for quick how to advice, as it is much more about changing your thinking, attitude, and skill. I did not find her bubblyness, irritating or over-the-top at all. She is passionate and it shows and when you study that much on a topic you deserve to speak about something passionately. I would not let the negative reviews deter you unless you have a low tolerance for happy people. I think it’s fantastic and I’m so glad I got it as her narration is efficient and really brings the book to life.

First of all, I am not George writing this review, I am his wife for life. We have one Audible account as a couple and it is in his name. I, like some of the other listeners, initially found the author's enthusiastic performance of her work annoying. However I did listen to the entire book, because it contains such valuable information and is so well written. I have since listened a second and now multiple times, and will continue to listen to this work until the principles presented in it become second nature to me. Also, as a result of getting to know Ramona as a student in her Wife for Life University, I realize that, first of all, that is who Ramona is; she is a woman who is full of life, encouragement, optimism and enthusiasm, and secondly that it was my own lack of these qualities and my cynicism that made the narration annoying especially since my first marriage was not successful. As I studied and implemented the information, Ramona presents, my attitude and my life has changed and I just LOVE listening to this book. It is like having a mentor and friend sitting with me cheering me on and encouraging me. I LOVE Wife for Life and this audio recording of it. In fact, now, hearing Ramona read her book is even better than reading the book myself (I also have the Kindle version of this book). I am an auditory person and I learn while listening. Thank you Ramona for the hours that it took to record this for me and others like me and to Dale (her husband) for the wonderful job you did engineering this work. I will always be forever grateful and one of your biggest fans. You have changed my life and my new marriage forever as well as helping me let go of all the guilt I carried from my failed first marriage. Thank you for sharing your life's work so that we may have the kind of marriage and lives and relationships that make living joyous, fulfilling and GRAND!!!.

Married for 12-years... wish I could have read this as a new couple!

My husband is truly wonderful but I have found myself finding fault and criticizing him in my head for not meeting my expectations. This book has helped me to understand him and have more compassion for him. I’m excited for the change I have felt in my thoughts. I’m grateful for the authors research and dedication to help women. I wish the author wasn’t so animated and excited with the reading (the way you’d read to a group of Kindergartners). Highly recommended read for all wives and soon-to-be wives!

Life changing!

I’ve always had a pretty good marriage, but this book is a must read for every woman, married or not! I’ve never met Ramona, but she’s taught me a lot about how to love and respect a man in a way I’ve always wanted and in a way he needs!

I love it!!

I loved this book. I think every woman could benefit from reading it. I found it to be extremely helpful in understanding the mans way of thinking and how we have so much influence on them.

inspires hope and resets your imagination

I found this audiobook very easy to listen to - and yes the narrator is very expressive in telling her story (that's why this is 4 star instead of 5). Thankfully it was not too off putting like a few reviews I read suggested. I'm glad I chose it because the content is pure gold. my husband has noticed a difference in my behavior as I implemented what I learnt. life is good and getting better all the time!

WISH I HAD READ IT 5 YEARS AGO!

LOVED IT! Really glad I am now working to make my marriage GRAND! I have had the book for a year now but never made time to read it. I LOVE AUDIO BOOKS!
