I finally got to listen to this original story from one of my all time favorite horror movies and it didn't disappoint. what a good time.

It’s. Ok. The writing is a bit unanimated, created in an earlier era. Fun to see the Carpenter Thing movie uses the same character names and storyline as this original story. For less than 5 dollars it’s O.K.

A bit flat.. not a movie!

Great story, very interesting to hear the original story of The Thing. Sadly, the reader has the reading skills of a High School drama student. All of the dialogue between characters is completely bereft of inflection and emotion. Audible should take advantage of the plethora of talent from scores of voice actors and directors that are available for hire.
